Update! Thank you to the one donor who pretty much covered this vet bill for these 2 pups! We are truly grateful and so thankful to you! You know who you are! I hope your kindness is paid back 100 times over!

We have 2 pups headed to the vet today for final vetting. They leave for forever homes in Canada on Tuesday.
We could really use some donations to help cover vetting costs today!

Update! Both these girls have scored amazing homes and leave on the 14th for their journey to their forever homes. But first they have a final vet visit here on Wednesday. We have not received even one donation to cover theri final vetting costs. Even 5 dollars makes a difference.
Aura has waited 2 years and Reba has waited a year. That means we have provided for and taken care of their Every need financially physically and mentally all that time. We do all we can and try not to rely on donations to take care of the rescue animals here but honestly, we could always use a little help.

Starting out this new year with 2 pending adoptions! Woohoo!
Aura has waited nearly 2 years and Reba has waited almost a year.
Both have been here since before their eyes were even open.
We had a little help from one of our rescue partners to make this happen for this two but we do what it takes and work with several great rescues who feel the same way!
We will not collect the adoption fee or adoption contract (the rescue partner will) on these two but it is never about that for the pups here.
We only want the best forever homes.
With that being said...they both will need updated heartworm tests and Aura Is due for her Rabies vaccine.

Sweet Olaf found his forever home today here locally so no long journey for this boy.
While we love our out of state adopters so much, it is also super cool and okay with us when they find homes close by.
Olaf is one of 4 pups we rescued back in January this year when they were found dumped with their mini aussie mamma at just a week old.

Mamma Rose and Sibling Stee Vee have already been adopted but now it was Olaf turn.

OLaf is deaf and has a wonky eye but we are so happy his new mamma was not deterred by his special needs ;)
This boy is as sweet as molasses and now gets ti be a spoiled only dog (for now) sharing attention only with some kitties and chickens and goats and piggies and duckies and chickens. I mean he should be feeling right at home already with that menagerie.

Happy Life sweet Olaf. We have been lucky to love you.

Ps. Olaf still has a brother and a sister looking for forever and lots of other friends here at the rescue.

We dumped our dog today.

We got him as a puppy, raised him with our other dogs, kept him in our living room and slept with him at night. We taught him how to SIT, crate trained him and taught him how to meet other people. He swam in our pond, explored our property and learned how to walk on, and off, a leash while here...but we dumped him today.

We picked him up as a stray puppy. Skinny, with mange and covered in fleas...neglected and failed by a previous owner we never knew. We brought him in, showered him with love and gave him everything he needed to become whole again. He has lived the majority of his young life with us. And we dumped him today.

We dumped him at his new home...with an owner who will love him as much as we do and make sure he never has to worry about another thing in life. We will miss him terribly but know he's going to a better place. To his furever home. Where ALL the love is reserved just for him. Where all the pets are his and he gets to train his human the way he wants. He is home!

And we pick up another...

Sweet Stee Vee made it to his new family in New Hampshire! Happy life buddy! We can't wait to see you be so loved!

We rescued Stee Vee, his mom and siblings about 10 months ago. Mom immediately found a home and now sweet Stee Vee found his forever. Very cool dog...he gets around so well you can hardly tell he's blind!

We save all types of animals from the worst situations and I bake to help pay for their food and vet bills.

Punkin' don't need no stinking dog bone to chew on...all she needs is this metal bowl! Pretty smart. If she had the bone, one of the bigger dogs would've already taken it from her. She's had this bowl about 10 minutes and none have even looked her way...even when she walks it around the kitchen, showing it off. LOL

First, thank you all for the birthday wishes! I spent the day with my family in Houston, a little daycation now and then is about all we can do with the pups and other animals needing at least one of us to be here ALMOST 24/7.
Lucky for us we have uber understanding families who know this life is what we love. That being said, time with them is precious so we put the phones down and enjoy our time when we have it.
I do have a belated birthday wish list for things for the animals, some things we always have on our list and some things are on their specifically for my birthday and will be removed at the end of my August birthday month.
It would be pretty amazing to get at least 1 of everything on the list but I realize in this time a lot of people are struggling. If you are unable to donate an item, sharing is just as important maybe add your own little note in support so YOUR friends and family will be motivated and comfortable purchasing something for one of the animals here.
AGAIN this list is for the rescue and sanctuary animals here and some extra items that maybe are a little more for me for those want options;)
