Getting Betty some more bird exposure for the upcoming quail season. Nice point on a pigeon. Learning the game they love.

Bluey pointing a pigeon. Fun to train these young pups and see the excitement as they learn the game.
Easter explorations part 2
Some clips of Bluey’s explorations on Easter.
Bluey’s Cameo
This is the pup we held back and are excited to train to join us in the field this fall. Kids won out on the name and wanted it to be Bluey. His collar color was blue and it just happened that my kids favorite show is the cartoon “Bluey” that is about Australian blue heelers. Griffs are a versatile breed maybe the kids will also train it to be a sheep dog 😂. Here is a video building retrieving drive. You will notice it’s just a few throws a day to keep it fun and exciting for now. Retrieving drive also helps build confidence with water work as it gives them a good reason to get in the water and have fun.
Retrieving Red
While most of the pups have made it to new homes this guy is still available. This guy here is going to make someone an awesome hunting companion. As you can see this guy is a natural retriever. I was a Lab guy before like most griffon owners. I love waterfowl hunting and upland hunting with a dog that has a strong desire to retrieve downed birds. Most pointing breeds you lose some of that or they don’t have the coat for late season cold weather waterfowl hunts. Once you hunt with a griffon you truly have a versatile best all around gundog. At the same time they love to be family companions and be a big part of your everyday life.
Puppies getting loved on by the girls. Our girls said we are keeping them all. They are so in love. Good for puppy socialization.
