After much consideration, I have made the decision to make a couple of my adult dogs available to retirement and/or companion homes. I will be very particular as to where these dogs go and they are not available to just anyone. Rehoming fee will be the price of their spay/neuter, which will be done before they leave. This could be reduced considerably to the right home. As always, juniors homes are given strong preference!
I also have a couple of adults available for consideration as breeding dogs, and I would be willing to discuss placing them into a smaller breeding program that may be looking for some diversity.
To be clear! These are house dogs, NOT kennel dogs. No kennel situations will be approved. These dogs sleep on my bed at night and snuggle on my couch with my kids. They go bye bye, they get pup cups, we play fetch in the yard and go for walkies. They get dressed up in silly Halloween costumes and give hugs and do pet tricks.
We use crates during house training and when I’m away at work, for their safety, and I will be looking for this same lifestyle for them.
All dogs to be placed will have a current vet exam, interstate health certificate, up to date DAPP, Rabies, HW test, F/T/HW preventatives on board, health guarantee and current age-appropriate health testing (OFA/DNA), when they leave for their homes. All records will be provided to new owners, along with transfer of microchip, and AKC/ASCA papers.
