Remember, older/younger dogs, brachycephalic breeds (ie bulldogs, pugs etc), large breeds and long/thick coats are more at risk of heatstroke in this weather.
If it is too hot for you to touch the pavement for a few seconds, it’s too hot for your dog to walk!

Diego and Kirby enjoying a little game of chase 🥰

Walking with Diego is a lovely experience due to how well he walks. He is allowed to sniff as we walk, and I allow him to have longer sniffs on my terms. In my opinion, all dogs should walk with their owners like this, especially the larger breeds ☺️ 🐶
