HI Everyone! My name is Baby and I'm scared that no one will adopt me with this ugly cherry eye and all the little fatty tumors I have, which makes me really sad (I'm actually 9 years old).
They told me the Friends Of people have agreed to pay for my surgery so I'm really hoping that happens soon.
Would you be able to help with a few dollars so Friends of has enough for the bill? I'd like a new home by Christmas!

Congratulations to Lady, who delivered 13 (!) exceptional performances in Two Gentlemen of Verona and has now found a new family! An audience member was so impressed with Lady’s performance, they adopted her, and she will be retiring from showbiz ! 😍❤️🐾

Lend A Paw This Hunting Season 🐶🌲

As hunting season goes on, you may find a hound wandering — some tired, some hungry, and some looking for somewhere soft and warm.

Now is the time to stay alert and compassionate; every watchful eye and gentle gesture helps a dog find safety faster. 🧡

If you spot a hound wandering, remember:
🐾 Check for a tag — a quick call can save a shelter trip.
🐾 Don’t chase — calm voices and patience go further than running feet.
🐾 Offer water or shelter if it’s safe.
🐾 Report sightings early — every minute matters.

When the community works together, dogs make it home faster, shelters stay open for animals in need, and more happy endings are possible. 💚

We share the heartbreaking news of Possum's passing. This sweet kitten, who received medical funding for hernia surgery, has crossed over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Reeder, with the Animal Hospital of Waynesboro diagnosed Possum with probable cerebellar abiotrophy, a progressive degenerative neurological disorder that severely affected her balance and coordination. In recent weeks, her condition worsened, and she became unable to stand, walk, or eat. To spare her further suffering, Dr. Reeder compassionately recommended euthanasia.

We would like to express our gratitude to the shelter staff for their ongoing dedication to providing the best care to help shelter animals get a second chance, to Possum's foster mom for providing her with a loving home for the first time, to Dr. Reeder for her skill, knowledge, and compassion for animals, and to our donors who gave Possum a few weeks of pain-free life.

While animal rescue doesn't always lead to joyful outcomes, your generous support makes a significant difference. Thanks to supporters like you, more animals are finding the loving homes they deserve. Together, we can continue to change lives for the better.
