Dear Retailers,

After over 50 years in the family business, James and Pi have made the decision to retire. They reached out to us at
National Roper’s Supply (NRS) with an opportunity to purchase Mayatex and carry on the 80+ year old family business legacy.
We at NRS have been doing business with Mayatex for over 30 years. We are humbled and honored that James and Pi felt we
were a great fit for the next chapter of their business. As a 100% family owned business ourselves, we understand the
important role relationships play moving forward. We look forward to getting to know each of you over the coming months,
and working together to grow this brand and your business. We are also open to any feedback about what Mayatex means in
your stores today, and what would make the product and process better for each of you.

The Mayatex products have been a staple in the tack departments of all our NRS stores for decades. We know that
Mayatex is also important to the other great tack retailers across the country, and we are going to make sure we do our part
to ensure the entire Mayatex product line stays available to you. We are trying our hardest to make this a seamless transition
and minimize any change. You will still see James and Pi at WESA in August and also in January. They are also both working
with us behind the scenes to make sure we understand how things work for the company. Jason Bowman, who has been with
Mayatex for 17 years, will be staying on to help run the brand. He will still be the main point of contact for all wholesale
related questions ([email protected]). To minimize the impact of any change, you will see zero edits to the current
pricelist or the current product line. We will not make any changes to core product lines until we learn more from you on
what is important to your customers. We are currently working hard at transitioning all current inventory and fulfillment for
Mayatex orders to our headquarters in Decatur, Texas. We hope to have this up and running within days.
Our main goals are to continue to provide the best quality saddle blankets in the western market and to develop
deeper inventory positions so that retailers can depend on us to replenish the blankets when they need them. We know that
low inventory and out of stocks has been frustrating for retailers and we intend to make large investments in this area to
ensure that we have what you need when you need it. At this point multiple containers are on order and set to arrive this
summer.
