Can't get Emu to eat pellets of any kind so we began to stuff them into grapes as that is a favorite snack offered daily to them. Emu goes for the grapes not even knowing we made sure that there are pellets inside. Gotcha! Made you eat more than treats and other produce that is also offered daily.

All of our current baby muscovies found their new farm today and they went together. June 12, 2024 and June 26, 2024 hatches.

Our sweet babies. We hatched them from shipped hatching eggs from Texas and New Jersey. Their blood samples are on the way to the lab as they couldn't test their eggshells. We could know their genders sometime next week. Hatch date: May 19, 2024 on Day 49.

Our first 2 Emu that we hatched on May 19th have crossed the 1 week mark. We await their gender testing results now

Stay tuned! Our farm is awaiting results of our 2 Emu samples that were sent in. We plan to do a little gender reveal for our 1 week olds when the results come in.

Our farm's first 2 Emu are doing good and are 3 days old now. They are eating and drinking and are able to stand. Incubated emu from shipped hatching eggs. Eggshell gender test samples have been shipped for these 2 and we should know by the beginning of next week who we hatched

Our farms 1st Emu's that we have ever had are hatching. We have 4 eggs incubating. 2 eggs are from a Vermont farm and are labeled 19 and 20. 1 egg is from New Jersey and is the lightest shade and the smallest of them all. 1 egg is from Texas and is the biggest egg of them all and is marked wirh a "J". We are on Days 48 and 49 now and my 2 that are day 48 are the 2 that have pipped.

Trying our hand at incubating Emu. We received 4 eggs from 3 breeders in 3 states and all 4 eggs are from unrelated pairs. Here is to a hopeful hatch towards the end of May

Mosaic chicks, Mosaic crosses and 2 Tolbunt Polish.
Hatched: March 21 and were bred on the farm. The polish were incubated and a Mosaic hen hatched the others

Another scammer busted! Facebook aka Meta does not mention pages in this way. We received a page mention claiming that a post we made in Nov 2022 regarding piglets being born violated facebook and that we must click a link to dispute it or not be able to post anymore. Lol!! This fake profile pretended to be Facebook/Meta and mentioned several pages in the hopes that someone would click on their fake links. Banned, blocked and reported. Do not fall for stuff like this.

Welcomed 2 Dwarf Hotot bunnies to the farm yesterday with 2 other precious bunnies that will be shown later today. These 2 boys are brothers and are named Li'l Guy and Snowflake. Marked, Black.🐰In love with the 4 new bunnies on the farm🩷

Last night into this morning we have been hatching chicks! This little one needed help last night as it pipped on the wrong end of the egg and was getting stuck. Slowly slowly assisted throughout the night. Baby hatched this morning and is thriving. Quite a few other babies have been hatching out too and are still hatching so this precious one will not be alone.
