My boy Ben in the snow yesterday. He saw mom with the camera and struck a pose as if he knew what I wanted him to do. The other geese are nearby out of shot. Ben is from our bloodlines on the farm and was hatched and raised here. He is a very loving boy.

Our farm is currently incubating 4 Emu eggs from a breeder in California. Parent's photos are attached. (Shared with permission from the breeder)
Egg C1: Wanda and Elmo (Standard female, Blonde male)
Egg C2: Pearl and Walter (Blonde female, Standard male)
Egg C3: Noodles, Gilbert & Rose (2 Blonde males, Standard female)
Egg C4: Noodles, Gilbert & Rose
They are due to hatch mid-February to the end of February if they hatch. Each pair or trio has 1 Blonde parent with 1 Standard parent. The one trio has 2 Blonde males with a Standard female.

We have hired FOUR our of state judges...airfares, hotels, all Accommodations, awards.....THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF dollars!
As of this morning, NO OPEN ENTRIES...NONE!
I know you guys like to wait until the last minute but lets get one this!!!!
We have already extended the deadline from TODAY to 5 days from now.....get those entries in ASAP...the earlier the easier it is for those who are bending over backwards to do this for you, the members! You always say "MORE SHOWS!" well here is one of the biggest ones of the years in our highest density of members!

November 7th and 8th hatch of goslings on the farm.

The definition of a derp is watching a female Cayuga trying to get water from the hose that just filled every possible thing around the farm with water but this is what she tried to chose over ALL of those to try to get water. Girl, there's 900 kiddie pools and water bowls everywhere! Derp de derp

Can't get Emu to eat pellets of any kind so we began to stuff them into grapes as that is a favorite snack offered daily to them. Emu goes for the grapes not even knowing we made sure that there are pellets inside. Gotcha! Made you eat more than treats and other produce that is also offered daily.
