As some of you will have seen, there have been some allegations made about a well known dog trainer for puppy farming. We have seen photos, photos and first hand accounts of people's experiences which has led us to end all associations with them and their companies. This includes Absolute Dogs, AO-K9 and Tug-E-Nuff.
We will no longer display certifications we earned with them or sell their products, while the learning and knowledge is still good and valid, we do not wish to direct people their way so that they profit further.

Nia has made incredible progress since joining Boomerang Dogs classes. Nia joined us as a worried, adolescent rescue dog and has since blossomed into the engaged, happy and skilled adult dog she is today. 😊

We went to a new location for our training walk this week and the dogs did awesome! 🥰
It's important for socialisation and generalising training to practice in many different locations which is why we include these sessions in our membership. 👀

Every month we have sessions on topics like engagement, recall, lead walking, emergency stops, bed games were we meet at the park and train in real life situations. 🐿

These dogs first go at a temptation alley to practise their 'Leave'.
An alley of toys, treats and peanut butter tempting and testing the dogs as their owners navigated through. 😅
Teaching a strong leave will give these owners the tool to get their dog to walk past and ignore a whole host of distractions. 💪

The Big Boom - Where it all started...
Hi, my name is Tesla and I’m the founder of Boomerang Dogs, a puppy and dog training school based in Cardiff, South Wales.
My dog training journey started after Luna & Lemon joined my family. Luna is a Border Collie who was a typical sheepdog gone wrong: high-energy, nervous and reactive. Lemon is a mixed breed who had an appalling recall and struggled to connect with people after her experience on a puppy farm and going through a rescue centre.
With the problems mounting, I tried many training methods with limited success before finally discovering games-based training. After just a short time I was able to understand my dog's behaviour, bond with them more closely and I can see them transforming before my eyes.
Now I can do everything I dreamed of doing with my dogs’, I enjoy every walk, we go on adventures and are learning new sports and skills all the time. Luna's confidence grows daily, she participates in Mantrailing and scentwork knowing I have her back to help her through any struggles. Lemon enjoys off lead walks and you may spot her demonstrating the games in some of our classes.
I knew I had to share these life-changing techniques and at the first opportunity, I trained professionally as a games-based dog trainer, becoming a certified Pro Dog Trainer. What I love most about these methods is they are easy to follow, fun and addictive. Once you start training with games you will be hooked too!
