🐑🐄🐴🐱🐮A roundup of our second day on our “So You Want to Be a Vet” course!

✅We began by discussing the essential qualities and skills needed to succeed as a veterinarian, including empathy, dedication, and strong problem-solving abilities. We delved into the educational pathways, from undergraduate studies to veterinary school, and the importance of hands-on experience through internships and volunteering.

✅We also covered the different specialties within veterinary medicine, from small animal practice to large animal care, and the critical role of ongoing professional development. Through practical activities and guest speaker insights, our attendees gained a clearer understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities and challenges faced by veterinarians. (if you look closely you can see that the small animal sessions were supported by Super Spaniel Finn who even tried his paw at presenting!)

✅A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the course! Your enthusiasm, questions, and engagement made the experience truly enriching. We hope you found the information valuable and inspiring as you consider your career path. Remember, the journey to becoming a vet is both challenging and immensely rewarding, and we’re excited to see where your passion for animal care will take you.

🎉🌞 A huge thank you to everyone who braved the heat and joined us at the fabulous Woolsery & District Agricultural Show yesterday!🌞🎉

🐑🐎🐄We loved seeing so many happy faces enjoying our picnic boxes, pasties, biscuits courtesy of T&B Treats and bakes & Pimms! You packed our tent out and it was a real treat to catch up with so many clients (congratulations to the many who were also competing in both farm and equine classes)!

There's going to be a fair bit of work involved in organising Sundays start lists for the Schools Show Jumping Championships. Entries will be closing at 9AM ON FRIDAY MORNING WITH NO LATE ENTRIES so please make sure you get your entries in on time!!

🗝We're thrilled to announce that we're moving to a larger location in Holsworthy over the next week!
Thanks to your incredible support, we've outgrown our current building and are relocating just around the corner to a spacious, newly redesigned facility.

🗺Our new premises are conveniently situated on the road to Harpers Feeds, right next to JAG Signs. This move allows us to expand our services and continue providing the best possible care to our clients.
