This is your reminder to TETHER OR KENNEL YOUR DOG IN A MOVING VEHCILE.

I sadly witnessed a dog get killed on the highway after it fell / jumped from a moving vehicle at 65+mph today. There truly was no time for anyone to react (the truck that did hit the dog, the lady in front of me who also sadly hit them and me who almost rear ended the first driver while swerving to avoid hitting them again).

It was completely avoidable if this dog was safely tethered. Sadly, he / she did not make it.

Do better for your pets. You wouldn't let your baby ride without safety, why would your dog be any different?
