Meeting big sister
Meeting big sister:
Aurora and one of the pups.
Yes, I’m nuts... took the girls out together today. They keep either behind me or to my side, even off leash. So getting a video of them together can be challenging, lol.
I took Tundra out the day after Corona. Tundra never left my side. The worst thing she did was run ahead about 10steps then waited for me to catch up. She also tended to stop just in front of me... trip hazard! Lol.
We actually stayed on the trail instead of taking a side trip, but we went just about as far.
Next will be Aurora, but with the rain and shut down of the Natural Parks, not sure when that’ll be.
Took Corona, one of the girls, on a hiking trip today. Her recall isn’t as quick as I would like, but she is still a puppy and we have time to work on it.
She pretty much walked off lead most of the way, and only left my side 2 times. This was the furthest she went from me. The other “squirrel” moment, she sat as soon as I called her.
Don’t mind my heavy breathing... we had just covered nearly 3miles and basically took an off the trail straight up climb to get to this trail (I took a wrong turn and needed to correct it). So, we were about half done with the hike.
Oh, and Corona is an aura of plasma around the sun. Her grandparents were Luna Moon and Solist Sol Sun. Her mother is Eclipse del Sol (solar eclipse) and Father is Krypto Etiam Wirtanen (meteor asteroid comet). So to keep up the spacey theme, her name is Corona del Sol. 😁
Ultimate goal... fence... but for now, training
3 of these girls are still available!
Went back downtown today, barely anyone there. I think I’ll plan to go this Sunday, unless something comes up or weather is bad.
So, I’ve been away for a couple of days... I think the pups are happy to see me. We been playing for about an hour now.
This is how I have to walk with the pups around. Luckily it was just one... sometimes I have 2-4 pulling on my legs.
Of course, the digger is girl 5... “trouble”... boy 2 and girl 6 are also... helping.
Boy #3... he doesn’t seem to mind the vacuum. He followed me around as I was working. I nudged him a couple times, didn’t phase him. The others... they are sitting by the front door unsure of this beast running around the floor.
He did have plenty of time and plenty of opportunities to find a place to get away. By no means was I trying to “chase” him or make it a scarier experience.
This girl who is attacking the toy, she is the most independent of the litter. Her nick name is “trouble”...
