Introducing… Miley 💕

This little lady came into care yesterday from 💕

At first she was a little growly and unsure but today she is enjoying all of the love and snuggles at from our awesome carer, Kelly and her family.

I can’t imagine this little ball of sweetness and fluff will take long to find her forever home but please keep her in mind if you are looking for new snuggle buddy.

Another recent beautiful adoption was for our gorgeous boy, Dash, Evie’s brother and the second of our beautiful OG Mangerton kittens to find their forever family.

Just like Evie, he was a scared and unsure kitten coming into care, but after moving into The Vickery foster home he soon gained confidence and became a sweet and loveable kitten.

Our gorgeous boy is now part of a beautiful family who fell in love with him instantly. He has settled in right away and even has a new best mate, Pepe. 🖤

Thank you Kaylie for choosing to and giving our adorable Dash the loving family he deserves.

🥳 Adoption News 🥳

Our sweet little Tully boy went to his forever home last week and has settled in so well. At first he was clearly missing his foster humans a lot and his new human, Jacqui was a bit concerned that he wouldn't love her as much as he loved them, but day by day, he has settled into his forever home more and more, and is now happy as can be,

He is exactly where he is meant to be. 💚

A few weeks ago we asked for help with naming one of our sweet kittens. The name Cleo was unanimously chosen.

Cut to Cleo's desexing day and it turned out that Cleo was actually Leo! Yep, it happened again! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ So now little Leo needs to find a loving home of his own.

Smart and food-motivated, Leo is highly trainable, making him the perfect candidate for learning new tricks or prompts. His intelligence and curiosity ensure that he's always eager to try something new, which promises endless fun for both him and his new family.

URGENT CARER NEEDED FOR SCOUT. He has to move from the kennels he has been in for the last few weeks.

We are in desperate need of a permanent home or a committed foster carer for our beautiful Scout.

This person needs to be committed to continuing his training and allowing him to be part of the family.

We’d advise no kids under 12 or pocket pets at this stage as even though he isn’t aggressive at all, we have not had him around pocket pets and young kids may be too in his face.

He is essentially still a puppy so needs guidance and love.

Scout would make an amazing companion or tradie dog. He Is higjly ibtelligent and would make a wonderful support or agility dog.

Adoption news!

The last of our Port Kembla babies was adopted during the week.

Our super smoocher, Tiger is now loving his new life with Steph and feline sibling, Amity in Goulburn.

Tiger has settled in straight away and Amity, who at first was unsure about her new housemate, is doing very well sharing her space with him. Happy life ahead!!

This loveable boy came into our care last week when his elderly owner realised she could not care for a kitten properly, and he has been winning hearts every day since.

UPDATE: Mangerton mama and babies

After 4 weeks of worry, Lyndal and I were able to locate Mama and her 5 babies on Sunday night. We trapped Mama and then tried to rescue her babies but unfortunately they had wedged themselves in a very tight spot, behind a wall under a house. After a few attempts to get them out, we left food for them even though they would have never known any food other than their mum's milk.

These babies urgently needed to be back with their mum to feed, so Monday morning I went back, determined to get them out.

As you will see from the pics, they were wedged in quite tight behind a vent, having climbed up a dirt mound and around the back of a pipe. They didn't seem particularly frightened but wouldn't come out, and I couldn't get my arm far enough in to get them.

It was time to play some mama cat sounds on Youtube and see how that worked. It worked perfectly!! One came out instantly and then one by one over the next hour they were all caught.

They went off to Lyndal's for a bath as they were filthy, and were then reunited with their mama. What a relief for us all, including mama cat who had been very stressed without them.

Going by info we were given by various members of the public, this is likely to be her 6th litter (at least), and her last! We are so glad to finally have them all and to know that she will no longer be living on the street having babies over and over again.

A huge thank you to the following people who made this rescue happen:

- Liz and family for caring for these beauties, allowing us into your home and for being so invested in getting them to safety. Also for taking mama back once she is desexed.

- The lovely family who allowed us to spend time under their house even when they were not home.

- Fellow rescuer, Elsje for assisting us with trapping.

- The Plociennik family for fostering mum and babies.

- and last but not least, everyone who contacted us with info about mama, it really did help us.

We look forward to sharing their rescue journey with you all and will introduce these little heartbeats over the next few days.

Little Ren has not had any adoption interest at all and we have no idea why.

As you can see, he loves his humans and is great with dogs, as well as other cats.

He loves cuddles and loves to play.

🐾 ADOPTION NEWS 🐾

Last weekend the first of our beautiful OG Mangerton kittens found her forever family.

From an innocent newborn on the street, to a scared and unsure kitten coming into care, Evie soon gained her confidence and became the most snuggly, lovable kitten.

Our gorgeous girl was so close to being a foster fail, so letting her go was hard, but she is now part of a beautiful family who fell in love with her instantly. She made herself at home almost instantly and is soaking up all the cuddles she can.

Thank you Mariela and family for choosing to and giving our dear Evie the loving family she deserves.

Sally is in need of someone who can match her playful spirit and gentle nature. Whether it's laying in the sun together or exploring the outdoors side by side, she needs a partner who will stand by her, offering companionship and unconditional love.

An absolute people dog, Sally loves her humans so much that she has no time or love for other dogs so MUST be the only dog. Whilst she is fine to see other dogs on her walks, Sally is not an off leash dog park kinda gal. She does not like the unpredictability of these parks.

Sally is such a smart girl and knows the commands; shake, hi-5, sit, down and roll over. When it’s feed time, she will follow the command “sit” and will only go for her food once she hear you command her “OK”.

She is ready to share the best parts of life with a loyal friend who will make her world even more beautiful.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, baked, donated and purchased goods at our Bunnings BBQ AND CAKE STALL on Sunday.
We really appreciate everyone braving the 35+ degree heat to come out to support us.

Our volunteers were machines and really worked hard in the heat!!

Thank you to Tay from for bringing our gorgeous boy Scout to the event in hope of him meeting his forever people. Unfortunately I don’t think his people were there but it’s always worth a try, and he certainly enjoyed the snags, doggie donuts and attention. So we appreciate you bringing him Tay.
