As an environmentally conscious business we have worked very hard on reducing our production waste. You are looking at an entire year of workshop waste. The only other waste we produce is thread trimmings.

All our shelves are made by local carpenters, are biodegradable and designed so our collars do not require any unnecessary packaging.

All our Kumpel models are rescues, and we love celebrating the kind of beauty that comes with character, resilience and second chances.

Beyond our photos, we support various animal-welfare organisations through donations, fundraising support, dedicated welfare ranges, and by offering rescue dogs a platform to be seen, admired and celebrated.

Every Kumpel design is named after a real dog that impacted our lives in one way or the other. This is Milly, also known as Queen Miloshka I. She was taken in by a local shelter as a puppy, briefly adopted and returned to the shelter for not being aggressive enough, and finally adopted by our founder into her forever home (read: personal castle). She is the most magnificent friend one could ever ask for. Loving, caring and unwaveringly loyal. The print reminded us of her unique eyes, eyeliner and all.
