We hope this message finds you and your furry friends well. It is with a heavy heart that we must share some important news regarding our beloved ZIWI Peak Air-Dried dog and cat food. After much consideration and evaluation, we regret to inform you that we will no longer be offering our ZIWI Peak Air-Dried dog and cat food in Europe. This decision has been incredibly difficult for us, knowing the impact it will have on your ability to provide your pets with their favorite nourishment. There are a couple of reasons for this change. Please read a full statement and explanation on our website:

My cat was diagnosed with IBD and was put on a novel protein diet. ZIWI®'s ingredients are so clean that my cat is able to stomach it and healed his ulcers! He eats only ZIWI® Lamb, Mackerel, and Lamb/Mackerel mix. Without ZIWI®, we'd be lost as other foods just aren't as good!

A healthy diet with Omega-3 fatty acids and high protein can help support excessive shedding! There are two reasons for shedding: seasonal shedding and long hair breeds. Dogs with shorter or more coarse coats shed very little. If your dog is shedding more than they should, they may have a health issue!

Two things that might be the reason:
1. Is your dog allergic? An allergy can be the culprit behind inflamed, itchy skin, which gets your dog scratching at their hair more than usual. If you think your dog is suffering from an allergy or something out of the ordinary for them, consult with your vet.

2. Is their diet the best it could be? There are unnecessary ingredients like artificial flavours, grains, starches, and sugars in many processed pet foods that might not be sitting well with your dog’s digestive system, resulting in excessive shedding or itching. A high-quality, PeakPrey® diet can improve your dog’s inner health and coat. A key ingredient proven to help is Omega-3 fatty acids.

Dear ZIWI fans! We would like to inform you about the challenges we are going through as a company and why you might have stumbled on product out of stock lately.. 😔

🌪️🏗️In February, New Zealand was hit by Cyclone Gabrielle, which has had a profound impact on our beloved community. Unfortunately, several ZIWI facilities were damaged, as well as many other local companies and construction teams. This had led to stock issues. At the same time, we reviewed our recipes and labeling to ensure they comply with the latest EU regulations and business registration requirements.

We are doing our very best to get everything on track as soon as possible. In the mean time, we would like to thank our wonderful customers for their patience and understanding during these challenging times.
