Help Needed!

I'm Harper, and as an ESRA alum who depended on the kindness of people to help get me to my Mom, I'm putting out a call.

UPDATE! Max and Dally have foster homes.

Welcome Max and Dally to ESRA Missouri! These two were abandoned together in a parking lot. Thanks to the stranger who took them home to keep them safe. And a special thanks to ESRA volunteer Lynne for going to meet/assess them, making arrangements for them to see the vet, and getting them into temporary boarding.

Now that they're safe, they need a foster home. We're not sure how bonded they are, so we want to place them together to get a better idea of things. Max and Dally are friendly and seem to be okay with other dogs.

The July numbers tell our current story.

This year, through July 31st, we have taken in 382 Springers. Versus 302 last year at this time.

Our expenses were a $142,364 in July. Versus $79,745 in July 2023.

Vet bills are though the roof.

ESRA desperately needs your help. How can you help?

***FOSTER HOME NEEDED***

This bonded pair of brothers--Copper (Springer) and Bear (Samoyed)--are coming to ESRA. So we're looking for a foster home for them together. Their Mom recently passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly. And these boys need us. A family member is caring for them temporarily until ESRA has an available foster home.

Both boys are neutered, current on vaccines, housetrained, and crate trained. They are ok with other dogs and have been exposed to cats. Copper turned 4 years old in April of this year. Bear turned 9 in February.

Copper and Bear are currently in Missouri, but transport to you can be arranged.
