I sure enjoy your page. Hope you would exchange with me about your Training Methods, and or training ideas I should know. I've done some training , and was taught the Koehler method of training but find it a too aggressive form. So I "tame" the method!

I have two dogs who I have massaged. They are constantly "alert and nervous" I soon discovered that before I could allow my therapeutic massages to benefit them, they need to learn discipline. Basic discipline....which would be better for their health.

It has been a LONG TIME!
JudithCatherine Lam, Board Certified Canine Massage Therapist, after about 3 months will be resuming her practice. The necessary pause was to recuperate after the passing of her Fiancee, James Ross Jeter. She knows, James would want her to press-on caring for Maui's Dogs. Surely, her practice has had successful testimonials and has encouraged her to continue, as she is aware all dogs require hands-on, non-invasive therapy for a more healthy musculature circulatory system and skeletal moves.

Client, Ace Dix with Mommy, Mya who is happy celebrating Ace's continuing desire to persevere in good health overcoming so many physical & emotional challenges. At the age of 10 years, he could not walk, but crawled. He laid down to eat. He was larthagic daily. In despair, , Owner Googled JudithCatherine Lam, Canine Musculature Therapist.
■ Ace had Cushings Disease . Medications were his input for a long time. JudithCatherine, , was asked to treat Ace. Every Friday, Ace received Muscular Therapy
After 9 one hour sessions, Ace was able to Walk, Run, & Romp on his own. He would Walk down balcony steps to roam the large grassy grounds & return on his own. Owner was happy to take Ace to the park! FREE AT LAST ! First time he played with his toys. Ate much better . Owner definitely was happy and so was the Muscular Therapist! ! The most "forgotten" part of the Canine's body are the PAWS.
When a Canine is therapeutically treated
each part of the paw is cared for:
●between digits,
●the pads hydration
●above carpus (wrist).
●awareness of dog's weight
●test sensitivity of each nail

■ REMEMBER: When walking your dogs, do NOT force them to walk on hot asphalt, sharp, rocky, or thorny ground.
■ People wear footwear to protect their feet from "burning." Well, if it's HOT for your human feet, trust me, it will be HOTTER for your dog's paws!!!!
■ ABUSIVE to allow your dog to walk on HOT or rocky/thorny ground.
