I wanted to say how thankful I am for Milo and what an absolutely amazing puppy he is. I can’t imagine my life without him and I’ve only had him for just about two weeks! He is the sweetest, most intelligent (basically potty trained already), most caring dog I have ever known. He makes us laugh all day long and gives lots of cuddles when he is sleepy❤️. Milo loves his crate and loves his nap time in there! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for my little angel. You are truly the best!

Our Story

Welcome to Golden Joy Retrievers! We are the Brooks family, located in Maryland about 45 minutes north of Baltimore. We home school our three boys, allowing for the time and opportunity to nurture our dogs and their puppies. There is such joy in spending time together as a family, caring for and playing with our Goldens!

My husband was raised on a farm where his family bred Golden Retrievers. Over the years, we have learned so much and gained a wealth of knowledge about responsible breeding practices in order to raise healthy and beautiful Golden Retrievers. We have plenty of room for the dogs to run and fetch, and our boys always enjoy rolling around and playing with the puppies, giving both dog and human a good dose of time together!

Our puppies’ parents are both OFA certified and registered with the AKC. We strive to provide families with a healthy, well-tempered puppy who will become one of the family for years to come.
