Life O'Riley Dalmatians I breed very infrequently and only when it will contribute to bettering the Dalmatian breed. All pups are BAER (hearing) certified prior to placement.

Our dogs are OFA thyroid clear, OFA clear of ISD, & OFA/PennHip certified clear of hip dysplasia.

Rio is in the backyard with Mama Brooklyn and Aunt Scout. Look how confident and comfortable Rio is around these two. Scout is 8-½ months old and has been invited by Brooklyn to share mom duties. Together, Brooklyn and Scout are teaching each of the remaining puppies how to be a dog. It may not look exciting, but if you've ever had a dog get loose and take off, you know how valuable it is to teach a solid recall. Taking the time to teach and strengthen a recall can save a dog's life. Rome left today for his new home in Akron, so I'm sharing a few of my favorite pics/videos of him. His new mom, Nicole, and I agree that fate brought us together. Rome and Nicole's daughter have so many things in common, but we'll let her share those details if and when she's ready. London is on his way to Florida to his new home. We're excited to see London and his new mama in the conformation ring, but even more excited to watch his new life unfold. One last romp around the yard, one last hug, and off he went. He and his puppy nanny, Kaley, are flying to Orlando this evening where he will meet his new mama Caitlin. It was so tough to let him go; you can see my red nose and red eyes in the pics. This is the painful part of having puppies; you've poured your heart and soul into them and in the blink of an eye, they're off. Love you lots, London boy! Ch Niko x Ch Brooklyn ❤️ 🥲

London was SO proud of himself this morning. All the pups have been playing with this donut, trying to jump up onto it and climb it, but haven't quite been able to do it on their own. They've been happy when I've placed them on it though. But this morning, London was able to get up onto it on his very own and he sat there for the longest time surveying his kingdom (the other puppies) and feeling very smug and proud. 😍 Love this boy! We had our BAER (Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response) testing today at the University of Akron's FETCH Lab. Dr. Wulliger and her students are amazing! They were so caring and gentle with each one of them and were very patient with mama Brooklyn who continually paced back and forth between the room with the ex pen and the testing booth. I'm sharing a few pictures and a short video of Miraflores (Mira) as she was being tested. The fact that she actually fell asleep during the testing process is testament to the care they provided. And she continued to sleep after they untethered her (the last pic is her sleeping in the tech's arms after they were finished - she didn't want to put her down 😍). In the video you will see her arms and legs just hanging limp while the technician gently bounces her like a baby. Can you even stand the cuteness?? Ch Niko x Ch Brooklyn

It's smush face Friday! I had a group of new Riley's Angels Therapy Dog teams graduate this evening so dinner was late. There was immediate grumbling and screeching. They completely forgot the extraordinarily large lunch I painstakingly prepared and the high-priced organic yogurt with probiotics they had as a snack before I left. Sometimes they are quite ungrateful! While they were grousing, I caught some pics of their faces being smushed through the fencing of their den. Just a look at where the adorable puppies from the Niko x Brooklyn litter came from. Both the sire and dam are gorgeous, with awesome temperaments, and both AKC Champions. CH Dakota's The Dark Mark SWA SCNE SINE x CH Woodwynd Talk Of Brooklyn Reaching New Heights FDC BCAT THDX RATN CGCA CGCU TKN. We will be doing some preliminary evaluations this weekend (pups will be 43 days) and will attempt to capture stack photos to share. BAER testing will take place next Thursday (4/25), but based on careful observations, we expect all puppies to have bilateral hearing. 🥰

Did a video of the puppies' den area and their play area. They weren't connected until today when we brought out the tunnel to see whether they would enjoy using it. They did! This video is of the set up, but I'll get video of them actually going through it as well. 🥰
