We are heart broken, this morning we had to make the decision to send one of our beloved dogs across the Rainbow Bridge. Kozmo was 12 1/2 years old but had an un known advanced heart problem that meant her quality of life was going to be greatly impaired so the decision was made. Kozmo had been Phils dog from a small pup so as you can imagine he was broken to have had to make the decision that ultimately was in Kozmo's best interest.

We have a planned power outage today from 9am - 4-30pm so will be without power which will also affect phones so will be out of touch for this period.

For the first time in the history of our rescue we find ourselves having to buy dog food, we have been so lucky with food being donated over the year but donations have not arrived and we are having to buy in food. we currently feed out about 50-60kgs of dog food a day and as you can imagine this is hundreds of dollars a week, if you can spare even a dollar to help us out until our next food donation comes in we would be very grateful. we are currently unable to help the community with food while we concentrate on ensuring our dogs in rescue have full bellies. Dear fans,followers and supporters we desperately need your help. We are running low on dog food and only have about a weeks worth left. We are currently feeding out 50kg a day and our normal supplies have sadly not come in. And from what we understand could be another week or two away. We are getting a little anxious and desperate over this. Please if you can help in anyway we would really appreciate it. Be it food or some money towards purchasing some would be really helpful.

Hopefully there may be some companies out there that supply dog food that might be able to help us out. We really appreciate any and all donations.
