RACING TODAY 🐎

We’re back racing on our doorstep here at Pukekohe Park with three lining up today.

Race 5 - True Story 📖
‘Poppy’ is fresh up over 1300m. Hasn’t had a trial but is feeling well, has the ace barrier draw and Sam Spratt on board.

Race 7 - The Letter ✍️
‘Roxy’ is well and running over 2200m, however she’s had a month between runs. Gets a 2kg claim with Nichola Yuen onboard.

Race 1 - He’s Platinum 👑
Jaimee lines up Elfie in the first on the card, with a handy 2kg claim with Triston Moodley riding. Hes been working well and like the others, has the advantage of his hometrack.

We’re heading to Te Aroha today with two horses in tow.

Race 7 - TRIGON LAD 💚
Our trusty Sambo was a last start winner in the City of New Plymouth Cup. He is well but backing up from his trip last weekend to Taranaki. To be ridden by Nicola Yuen who claims 2kg for owners Duncan Equine Partnership & Mike. 🙌

Race 5 - HE’S PLATINUM 💚
Jaimee owns and trains Elfie who has been working well and is back to his preferred way of going right handed. To be ridden by Tegan Newman from barrier 6.

Special thanks to our team behind Mike & Jaimee, including Jimmy’s regular track rider Lee Tiley. By All Too Hard, Mike purchased him from Magic Millions National Yearling Sale from Lime Country Thoroughbreds.

Happy birthday Sammy!! 🥂A big win by our first starter All Too Brave (Jimmy) at Racing Tauranga in the $18,500 Maiden 1200m today with the birthday girl Sam Spratt riding.

A special result with Mike purchasing him and training for a family ownership group of Gracie, Mike, Matt & Julie ☘️ We look forward to seeing what’s in store for this very promising horse in the future 🙌

Our first starter All Too Brave (Jimmy) lines up in Race 7 over 1200m at Racing Tauranga. He’s an exciting horse with lots of potential, but still green and will take improvement from the run. Sam Spratt onboard who knows him well for owners Gracie, Mike, Matt & Julie ☘️☘️

It was a late Christmas present for the team with Trigon Lad’s win at New Plymouth yesterday. 🎁 We look to go again today this time at Rotorua with two runners.

Race 5 - THE LETTER 🐎
‘Roxy’ is in over 1560m with Tegan Newman aboard for Mike as trainer and owner. Drawn 9, she would have preferred a rain affected track.

Race 8 - EDDIES DREAM 💭
After his first start for us finishing third, ‘Dez’ steps up to 1950m. He is drawn 2 with Tegan Newman riding and will appreciate the extra ground. Racing in his owner’s Roseileen Carson’s colours.
