Very proud of Golden Path who continues his winning ways in Australia. We purchased ‘Red’ at New Zealand Bloodstock from Ardsley Stud and privately sold him after winning two trials. 💚☘️

Golden Path flew home to claim the Ronald McDonald House Charities Trophy (1700m). Given a perfectly timed ride by jockey Blake Shinn, the gelding recorded his sixth victory from 19 starts. Bred by the Wallace family’s Ardsley Stud, Golden Path was purchased for $35,000 from the 2021 New Zealand Bloodstock Book 2 Yearling Sale by Pukekohe trainer Michael Rogers. After winning two of his three trials in New Zealand for Rogers, he was privately sold and moved to the Price-Kent stable.

Gameplay (Brian) lines up in Race 4 over 1300m at Ruakaka on Saturday.

He’s a talented horse winning on debut last prep and has been working well, but the distance is short of his best so we expect to see him running on strongly late.

Our handsome Poppa Dennis makes his raceday debut in Race 3 at Te Aroha. He has a nice trial win under his belt, however he’s still a little green so will learn a lot from the outing tomorrow.

Drawn barrier 3 and to be ridden by Jasmine Fawcett. ☘️
