Finally a soft school so a bit of hoof brain work. One stride double with lead change, 2 simple straights and a corner bounce. As you can see lilly at 16 is well up for a veteran season and mouse ate it up ready for her first! For the older horse it was higher (not to high) and tighter and for the younger horse I kept it small with an easier wider bounce which definately gave her confidence and she ate it up 💪

Today's homework. Older mare was challenged by stretching and lifting. Baby pony pranced through somehow as she was looking at everything but the poles. 😂

Had the absolute pleasure of working Lauren's 4 year old Monty this week. What a fabulous job she has done. This week I focused on transitions and lateral work to move him off the leg and up into the contact. He is going to be a beautiful horse

Well last month I was a very lucky girl and I did a couple of days training with one of my idols Lucinda Green MBE I could not have appreciated her honest feedback more and what a challenge and confidence boost it was for us both. She can see feel and can see the whole picture. Biggest thing I learned was to let mouse learn, she needs to make mistakes and I need to allow her the chance to correct herself. Some tack changes to make and fingers crossed we can return next year and show our progress 😁🐎

Huge well done to Deb and her lovely ponio. We have been struggling to keep our right leg down and to keep our body relaxed in the canter. After some stirrup free sessions at trot learning to control more with seat we took the plunge and what a great seat we achieved 😁

So proud of mouse who may need to be renamed lion. Fillers and water trays jumped all without a stop! 75 was lovely round, 85 was not as smooth but just tidying up and confidence to achieve now as fences get bigger 😁
