Update on Johnny... Dr Larkin called this morning. Johnny has walking pneumonia. Probably started as kennel cough then got a superimposed pneumonia resulting in the cough. He will start 2 more antibiotics. Please keep your pets and others safe by vaccinating and separating them if they are coughing!!

We added a ramp to see if that helps Jackie better. The mattress itself is the length of his arm! If we like the ramp, I'll make it prettier! Learning as we go!

Update on Johnny. We went back to Dr Larkin for the cough... x-rays are being sent off for an official read by the radiologist. Several possible diagnoses: collapsing trachea, heart failure, lung inflammation, and a questionably enlarged lymph node near his heart. Cough tabs, steroids and antibiotics haven't helped yet. So, today, he got a shot of Lasix (a diuretic) and some high power cough medicine. On a positive note, there ARE good people in the world!!! Many thanks to Joann at Millbrook Wal-Mart pharmacy who heard about Johnny and wouldn't let me pay for his medicine 🥰💕

We finally have a mattress!!! Never thought it would be so hard to get one. Ended up ordering 5. One was finally in stock and delivered!

We went to our favorite vet (Dr Larkin) for a check up. They both have ear infections but got some medicine for that. Johnny is having some blood work checked to make sure his thyroid and everything are OK. Also starting a second cough medicine. Jackie was all smiles and they were both recognized from FB 🥰

Busy day. Grands came over with Ricotta who is on out on operation silent night with intent to adopt. Was too busy with all these puppers to take pics. Bed will be ready for sanding and staining tomorrow!!
