Imagine your favorite treat- and then someone coming and gobbling it off your plate while you try to eat it! This is why resource guarding becomes a problem- that frustration is real. We like to reward one in one in calm sessions when learning to sit for a treat. But this is so much more difficult when there is competition. This is a great exercise for helping resource guarding. So good for them to have your fingers in and out of their mouths and giving and taking treats. And for them to get the idea that they aren’t forgotten but I am in charge of the treats, and they will get some. Oh I love them. This is such a fun thing to get to do!
