Looking for good home for Dora the Rottweiler.

Dora is 7 years old, in excellent health with docile temperament. She weighs around 80 pounds and gets along good with other dogs and loves kids. Dora has been spayed.

There is no rehoming fee, just a good home with a fenced back yard or a farm situation. She has lived as an outside do for the most part of her life.

Why we chose to breed Rottweilers.

We have owned and worked with three different types of large breed dogs German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois and Rottweilers.

What we like about the Rottweiler is when the kids and the kids friends are all out swimming in the pool or wanting to play it’s our Rottweiler Sim Sim that they asked to be let out to play with everyone. And not only is he the one they ask for, he is the one that we don’t have to worry about what he’s up to or what might go wrong. He is quite simply a gentle giant; in fact, the kids call him their BFG.

If you want a working dog, go with a shepherd or if you are really serious go with the Malinois. However, if you want a dog that can be the perfect pet, family protector and fun to train and work with we feel the Rottweiler is the better choice.

But with that said, the Rottweilers temperament to work and protect should not be underestimated. They start out as cute little bears but will grow to be a formidable force and if neglected or raised improperly, their strength can be to your detriment.
