Why Choose Home Boarding?
About Me:
I've been a fan of dogs all my life; I'm one of those people who can't take my eyes off any dog when I pass them in the street. I don't currently have a dog of my own, because of this I take care of dogs whenever possible. I can arrange a reference for peace of mind if you, or take a look at my many reviews on my Rover profile. In the past (before joining dogbuddy.co now Rover) I have taken care of many different dogs big and small, there have been some with behaviour issues, some with nervous aggression and some with medical needs. I love them all despite any challenges, I believe that all dogs have a loving nature and great little personalities once they are comfortable with you.
Qualifications:
I have a diploma in pet psychology, a certificate for pet first aid and CPR as well as a professional dog walking and pet sitting diploma. I also spend time each month researching various breeds and behaviours always seeking to increase my doggy knowledge.
What Your Dog Can Expect:
I try to stick as closely to your dogs home routine as possible, I aim to make your dog feel comfortable and relaxed. All dogs who come to me are given lots of fuss and playtime. I don't take them in just because I can, I take them in ready to make them my priority. I'm happy to make adjustments for any reactive or nervous dogs. Please be reassured if your dog has any behaviour issues they will be given plenty of love and patience by myself and my husband Will. I also work part time two evenings a week, at this point my Husband is home and takes care of any four legged guests, they enjoy playtime with Will. This means it is rare your dog will be alone, when they are it is for a short time and I use my doggycam to keep an eye on them so I know they are safe and happy. They get sofa access and my home is theirs so they can run about the whole house and enjoy themselves, unless of course you have house rules you would like me to instigate.
