We are organizing a community group to rally behind creating a dog park on Mitchell street that will enable responsible dog owners to allow their dogs to run free, play, and socialize with other dogs.

The landscapers are coming Thursday to cut the grass. Please clear the park if you see them. Their plan is first thing in the morning.

Hey all,
I will be away from the park off and on for the next two week. If you’re noticing the water getting low, please take a container or two across the street to help the park. The spigot is located across the street I see the Manayunk View sign and behind the central air units. Also, please pick up your p**p!

Hi all,
I will unexpectedly be out of town starting Monday through Wednesday. I will not be there for my p**p walks or to fill the water. I do have some helpers who will watch out but please make sure to pick up your p**p and if the water is low, you can take a container or two across the street to fill. The spigot is at the apartment building and just to the left of the building sign by the air conditioning units.

Hi all,
With the new announcement box now in the entrance to the park, we lost the hooks for the leashes. I’ve replaced them with “S” hooks on the fence where you can hang your leash! This allows our members who only use the small dog park to see the box and allows you to hang your leash right inside the park. Have a great day!

Hi all- the landscapers are gone for the day. We are doing a project to lift the fence between the small and large dog park. The tarp is there for to separate. They are getting supplies and will finish on Wednesday. Thanks for your patience!

Hi all,
I know we’ve asked this before but please, please, please do not let the gate slam behind you. The gate sometimes slips past the latch and this can cause people to get “trapped” in the park because they can’t get the gate to line back up. It does take some elbow grease to fix and is totally preventable. Just like in your own house, please guide the door closed.
