Join us for a Meet & Greet at Pet Evolution in Arden Hills, featuring a "Chip and Clip" on November 9th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm,a great chance to meet some wonderful cats!
The "chip and clip" service will at the same time, we will trim your cats nails and microchip for a small fee!
We’ll be a vendor at the Festival of Seasons Craft Show at St. Croix Lutheran Academy on November 9th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Happy Black Cat Day!

This day is to celebrate the haus panther (they have a few days throughout the year because they're so misunderstood). Here are some positive myths about the black cat:

For sailors, having a black kitten on a ship is said to calm both the sea and the wind. For hotel owners, if a black cat visits you, you are encouraged to welcome the cat nicely, as he will bring more patrons. If a black cat walks in front of you, he is said to take your troubles with him. Also, a pudgy black cat is believed to be a charm for a great marriage.

Hot Tamale is back at The Cafe Meow - New Hope! He's equal parts charmer and lover. You'll just have to meet him in purrson at the cafe to see for yourself just how sweet this boy is.

We had this amazing heartfelt 'welcome back' written for this sweet orange boy, but we lost it in all our tabs and notes. So you will have to enjoy this short but sweet read on this purrfect little chonk. 🧡🤍

Tamale is a lovable orange boy who was sadly returned to us through no fault of his own. Truly, he is an amazing, loving cat! Despite his past, and having trouble finding the right person for him, he’s still as gentle and affectionate as ever. He’s 6 years old and enjoys a cozy blanket, a sunny window, and all the pets he can get. Tamale thrives on human companionship and would do best in a home that values calmness and has a lot of affection to give him. He gets along with most other cats but truly shines when he has people to adore him. Could you be the one to give this sweet boy the forever home he deserves? If you didn't get the chance to meet him over the weekend, consider popping in this week as we will be slow and he will certainly be looking for some love.

It's Take Me Home Tuesday! Today we're featuring Calistoga. Toga is super sweet girl who has cerebellar hypoplasia, also known as "CH", also known as "wobbly cat syndrome."

What is cerebellar hypoplasia? Cerebellar hypoplasia is a neurological condition in which the cerebellum—the part of the brain that coordinates movement—is smaller than usual or not completely developed. This causes the cat to have poor balance, to wobble when they walk. CH cats fall down/tip over a lot. They were born this way so they know no other way of life. CH doesn't cause pain. And CH cats are quite used to falling down - they know how to fall without hurting themselves.

Toga's CH is very mild. She can actually jump up on things, which is quite unusual for a CHer. She can actually navigate hardwood floors (a lot of CH cats need to be able to grip carpet). Her head shakes when she's nervous or excited. That's a CH cat trait.

Being a tortie, Toga has a lot of opinions about other cats. She gets along with older cats who know how to wrestle. Toga likes to throw her whole body at her wrestling partner and takes them down in a glorious thud.

Toga is always purring. She's quite active and loves to play. She's always on the wobbly move.

If you have another cat who could handle Toga's wrestling style, perhaps Toga is the cat for you!
