Elliot, Latimer, Babygirl, Stanton, Lucy, and Flops are arriving Saturday from South Carolina to Shelburne Vermont and are in need of a loving host home! All are currently available for our Foster to Adopt program! All have assessed dog friendly, likely okay with cats (all cat/dog relationships are different), and are all deserving of a loving host home!

ELLIOT – Male, 9 years old, & 51 lbs. Elliot assessed well with other dogs, may be good with cats (all cat/dog relationships take time and are different), likes car rides, is social, loves affection, appears potty trained, and has medium energy. Elliot would make a great addition to any household; his sweetness will have you hooked!

LATIMER – Male 14 months old, & 52 lbs. Latimer did well with other dogs in the play yard, may be good with cats (all cat and dog relationships are different), knows Sit, has medium+ energy, and is a playful, fun boy! His favorites are: tennis balls, tug toys, and plush squeaky toys! Latimer is a quirky and enthusiastic dog who loves toys, treats, and making you laugh!

BABYGIRL – Female, 13 months old, & 35 lbs. Babygirl is a wiggle worm; showing her happiness with her little wiggle butt! She has lived with other dogs, may be good with cats (all cat/dog relationships take time and are different), is social and a little bashful in new situations but warms up quickly, treat motivated, and is so grateful for her 2nd chance after being neglected and left outside on a chain! She is sweet as pie!

STANTON – Male, 2 years old, & 43 lbs. Stanton assessed very well with other dogs, may be cats (all cat/dog relationships are different), did well with other dogs, appears house trained, has medium energy, and is social; his happiness is contagious!

LUCY – Female, 2 years old, & 49 lbs. FLOPS – Male, years old, & 77 lbs. Flops assessed with other dogs (he is vocal and very excited when meeting new dogs; he was found with another male as an abandoned stray), maybe cats (all cat/dog relationships are different), appears house trained, has medium energy, and loves all humans! Kyra is 3 years old, female (approx. DOB tbd), 47 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Cassidy and Kyra were on their last hours at the shelter in SC when we rescued them! Latimer did well with other dogs in the play yard, may be good with cats (all cat and dog relationships are different), knows Sit, has medium+ energy, and is a playful fun boy! Handsome Flops was to have his last breakfast in an overcrowded shelter in SC when we made the phone call to him! She gets along with dogs, maybe cats (all cat and dog relationships are different), and is a social butterfly! Lucy is a playful and affectionate pup who loves fun as much as she loves cuddles! Whether it's chasing a tennis ball, squeaking a toy, or snuggling up for a belly rub, she's ready to make every moment special. Lucy knows Sit and is highly treat-motivated, making her a great candidate for learning more tricks. Her enthusiasm is just her way of saying she's ready for the next adventure! It's a New Year but same needs! Help us save the first lives of the 2025! These 7 dogs were set to expire TODAY at 12 noon. We've worked with the shelter and requested, and been granted, an extension to tomorrow while we requested assessment informaiton, video, etc. Please help us save their lives; they WILL be euthanized if they do not leave the shelter tomorrow vs seeing another chance.
These pups deserve their New Year's gift...................A 2ND CHANCE & TO BE ADOPTED BY A LOVING FAMILY!

As always, to save them we will need to raise money and get them out of the building tomorrow, to boarding. Without fosters boarding is the only option to save their lives. Boarding is a minimum of $15 per day per dog and transport is $150 per dog to Vermont. They typically board for a month or so. This would total $3150 for boarding & $1050 for transport = $4200 total = $600 per dog sponsorship.
