I’m hoping to run a family funday/dog show to raise money for Arthur ranks hospice of may next year. The venue I was hoping to hold it at can’t let me due to insurance reasons

So I’m now on the hunt for a different venue - so if anybody knows of a big area that at least have toilets and could be a possibility I’d be very grateful if you threw your ideas my way please

Hi everyone unfortunately I’ve to call it a day today as the temperatures are already at a dangerous number for your pets. Sorry for any inconvenience caused but I have to put your pets best interested and safety first.

On the plus side I am offering an early start early finish then going back out again in the evening when hopefully should be cooler, but as I said I will be assessing the situation and calling it when needed.

Good evening everyone, hope you are all enjoying the sun.

The sun and heat are lovely but not so lovely for our furry little friend, tomorrows temperature as you can see is extremely high and grooming in the back of a van you can easily add an extra 10 degrees on top of the temperature reading for outside the van.

As everyone are aware that heat can cause extreme damage to dogs and myself working in high temperatures, so I will be constantly assessing the situation throughout the day tomorrow on wether to stop etc I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused but I’m sure as all of you are aware of the dangers that the extreme heat could cause to your pets.

Pets have not died from missing a walk or a groom but sadly many have and will die due to heat

What a year!

Thank you so much to each and every one of my lovely old and new customers for 1 keeping me busy and 2 for all of your support, love and kindness you have all showed not just to me but my husband Christopher also through this very difficult and upsetting year we are both very grateful and appreciative.

I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and new year and wish you every happiness for 2024

Where do we start?!

The past 2 and a bit weeks have been horrendous, tiring and very emotional.
From auntie Ruth having to be took to hospital late Thursday (14th) to being treated for all sorts but nothing could be done to be put on end of life care monday (18th)

Yesterday at 2.20pm auntie Ruth passed away peacefully in her sleep, people say it’s probably the best way for her to slip away but it doesn’t make our pain any easier.

Both Christopher and I are so very grateful from the warmth and love shown/given from family, friends and my lovely customers we are so very lucky to have you all in our lives. In sad situations like this we certainly know who is there/who isn’t there for us.

Thank you all so much for your caring messages they really do make it just that little bit easier
