Like father, like son, like all the other geckos.๐ŸฆŽ They all seem to have an inherent desire to get behind the printer. This was 24A-3's first time on the desk and he beelined right to it and hung out there for awhile. Discover Your Passion

My name is Sheryl and at 25 I finally discovered my passion: Leopard Geckos! I suffer from debilitating allergies for cats, dogs, birds, and pretty much everything with fur. I took to the internet to look for alternatives and eventually I stumbled on the idea of a reptile. I did my research and decided that we would have Leopard Geckos; theyโ€™re easy to care for, docile, and best of all they canโ€™t climb on the ceiling!

The idea of getting a gecko companion was a far off idea, years in the future. However, on my 25th birthday, my partner dragged my to my local reptile and exotic pet store and we looked at the geckos. This is where I met Leckgo. He was a juvenile Hypo Tang Leopard Gecko with two clusters of black spots on his back and a wonderful attitude. I knew the moment I met him that he was going to come home with me.

It didnโ€™t take long for my passion for these animals to grow from an ember to a full on inferno. With Leckgo in my care, growing and being adorable, I realized that this is what I want my life to be.

Even though I have an Associateโ€™s Degree in Electronics Technology and am going to school to finish my Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, it was never something that I was truly passionate about; just something I was alright at. I even suffered from depression knowing that having a career in this field was never going to make me happy, at least not truly. But once I got Leckgo, everything changed. I was happy. Even dealing with all the p**p and worse dealing with all the bugs! (Leopard Geckos are insectivores) I was still happy. I wanted this to be my life, I want this to be my life, I need this to be my life.
