🔴 Last update: Winston will be transported to Stray Rescue in St. Louis where they will continue his care.
***7/14 Update: Winston has been seen by a vet and is on antibiotics for his wounds!
Temperament update: Owner states that he doesn’t do well with cats or small animals (chickens, small furry animals). Will chase livestock and will stand his ground if provoked in a fight. He has had a couple altercations with a couple other male dogs who were intact.
**Second update: We are trying to get through all the messages. We have limited volunteers & are actively working with other rescues. We should know more tomorrow & will update then. All that we know about him so far is what we have posted here.
*Update: we now know his name and it is Winston! ❤️

We were contacted today about this dog. His owner had to move so family members took him in only to chain him up outside. He is use to being a house dog, is house broke and kennel trained and very depressed. Today he was attacked by another dog and owner is now without anywhere for him to go. He is about 4 years old & good with other dogs his size but will need a foster with no intact dogs as he has not yet been neutered.
This boy needs a foster!
Rescue is in Jefferson City, MO.
He has been seen by a vet & has been put in boarding for 48 hrs to give time to find a place for him. Yadis is not the one covering the boarding fees! There are multiple rescues working to get this boy someplace safe!
