Daisy wants to share her daily musings and her hopes for a better tomorrow for all creatures in need. With this page, she can share stories of rescue, of seniors, and of happy-tail endings. ng adopted by Momma in the summer of 2003. until 2007, when Momma and Daisy moved to Montreal, QC, Canada, with her sister-cat Lily (who passed away in 2012). I had a freakin’ spinal tap!!!
On top of a second MRI in the last five months, and BOAS surgery…
Needless to say, Momma is a wreck and her bank account is ruined (even with insurance).

I however seem just fine. Still lazy, still walking funny, and no firm diagnosis. It’s not DM, IVDD, there’s no surgery needed for now.

Gonna go take a nap now with Momma. 💤

Calling on all my fans and followers for a bit of encouragement and healing vibes. 💕 I am recovering from BOAS surgery and all went very well. The surgeon is happy and there were no complications. 👍 The tricky part now is having enough appetite to eat, specifically the food with medicine hiding in it. Mom’s getting pretty clever, but my appetite is not very strong at the moment. I prefer to rest. Accepting positive thoughts by the bucket! 💫 *this video was taken pre-surgery. When I am feeling a bit better I will post a pic of the new me! If you have any questions about BOAS, or the common health issues of my breed, don’t hesitate. Momma loves to talk about it!
