Diesel came up lame in the right hind leg last week after a run. Always a scary thing for an owner. Could be a ligament tear or soft tissue injury. After working on her i noted a lot of tension in the right hip flexor, no tension around stifle or oversompensation to left rear. At the time of the injury no vocalization either. From my experience these were a good tell to me that most likely it was a soft tissue injury. I instructed mom to rest her, leash walk for the next week and started her on a high dose of vet cbd! After 4 days Diesel was back to her old self! Working on her today for a follow up and shes doing great! Mom got to avoid an expensive and long visit to the ER!
