‼️ URGENT TEMP. FOSTERS NEEDED FEB. 5-10‼️

We need your help! Last week, we put out an urgent call for fosters for these pups… and so far, not a single application has come in. Everyone has been so great about sharing the post! I’m honestly shocked we haven’t gotten any applications. These puppies are well-mannered and just need a safe place for 5 days—surely we can find a few people willing to step up!

If you can open your home, even for a short time, please reach out ASAP!

I’ll also be posting for boarding donations if I can’t find fosters and to help cover the cost of getting them and their mama spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and on preventatives. That final bill came to $1,800, which I covered personally after receiving $560 in donations (for which I’m so incredibly 🙏grateful) and I’m still outstanding on a small balance for boarding Mr. Piggie as well as his medical bills which were near $7K.

🚨 URGENT: Temporary Fosters Needed Feb 5-10! 🚨

I’ll be out of town later this week for my grandson’s 1/2 birthday party. My son is being deployed to Kuwait in June and won’t be here for his first birthday, so I’m taking this special opportunity to be with them. I’m not sure if I’ll get to visit again before he leaves.

That means I desperately need multiple temporary (or long-term) fosters for 8 sweet puppies during this time! They DO NOT NEED TO BE TOGETHER.

Had the best time yesterday at ! The pups had an absolute blast and were completely worn out by the time we left. I'll share some fun videos later today! Huge shoutout to the amazing staff for keeping a close eye on all the dogs while they played their hearts out both inside and outside. Thanks to Meg the owner for having us in for an adoption event and for all that she is doing to support rescues, the doggies in rescues and promoting rescue events! Highly recommend you check them out!! Your dogs will thank you🐾 Temps and the recent snow prevented the turf from being installed completely but they made it work and fun was had by all! A huge Thank you to Katie and Annie for volunteering and to the Traffords for bringing Chico!

🐾 ⭐️Always a fantastic time with the amazing team at Specks Pet Supplies! And a BIG thank you to Kate for volunteering with us and to Berkeley’s foster Mama for bringing him out today and Nick one of our other fosters for coming out to support!!⭐️🐾

While there were no adoptions Saturday, it was still an invaluable opportunity for these adorable puppies to get some fresh air, meet new faces, and enjoy much-needed socialization. 🐶

🐾 Meet Berkeley! 🐾

This adorable little guy is one of Dior’s puppies, and he hit a big milestone yesterday—he was spayed! 🎉 After a rough ride home last night, Berkeley is recovering like a champ and had the ultimate VIP treatment today by going to work with his foster mom, who just happens to work at a vet’s office. Talk about the perfect recovery buddy, right? 🩺🐶

Berkeley spent the day chilling, being pampered, and melting hearts wherever he went. It’s safe to say he’s on his way to becoming a very happy and healthy pup! 💕

🐾URGENT!! Friends, I still need your help! 🐾

TOMORROW is a big day—Dior and the last 3 pups are scheduled to be spayed/neutered. It’s such an important step for their health and getting them adopted (and helps reduce the number of homeless animals out there). 💕

But here’s the thing—I CAN’T do this without your support. Most of the other rescues out there have tons of volunteers and do a lot of fundraising and we are just getting started. We have some great fundraisers in the works starting next month, but right now I am fully funding this rescue and I just can’t do it by myself financially anymore. These surgeries aren’t cheap, and we still need funds to cover them for tomorrow. If you’ve been thinking about donating, now’s the perfect time. Even $5 or $10 makes a difference and gets us closer to giving these sweet pups the care they deserve. 🐕

This week, Dior’s 7 puppies will be getting spayed and neutered, and later this month, Dior herself will be spayed. These procedures are essential to breaking the cycle of overpopulation and ensuring these sweet pups have the healthy, happy lives they deserve.

The dangers of leaving your pet in a cold car are real! During the winter, a chilled car can function as a rolling refrigerator. This is because they have little to no insulation. So, while your pet may be shielded from the outdoor elements, they are not protected from the cold temperatures. This implies that if they are left alone for too long, they may suffer from hypothermia, which occurs when their body temperature falls too low. If left untreated, hypothermia can lead to brain damage, coma, cardiac and respiratory failure, and even death. Please do not leave your pet alone in a vehicle! Take them inside with you or LEAVE THEM SAFELY AT HOME.
