To our dear ByBenji online family, this is the post nobody ever wants to share.

There is no hiding from the fact that over the past 3 years, the global economic crisis with it’s ever increasing manufacturing costs, (which like everyone we have had to bear the brunt of), means regretfully we’ve taken the difficult decision to wind down production.

We wish to thank every single person & pooch for your amazing support over the years.
You have been the life and soul of our biltong world, and it has been our absolute privilege to serve you both online and wonderfully live.

We’ve loved seeing and hearing your own ByBenji stories so please go ahead and post them up.

Again, our biggest thank you to YOU for being a part of our incredible journey.

Happy first of December…let the advent-ures begin!
Leading up to the big day, we’ll be giving you lots of ByBenji festive ideas, including ways to make your dogs dreams come true…Biltongeer style!

What are High Value dog treats?
These are the treats given to your dog when learning new things, in challenging situations, or completing difficult tasks.
A high value choice has to have an aroma that keeps their focus and a taste that will impress!
Low value treats - such as a dry cookie or kibble - can be used along the way, but when it comes to that very special “jackpot” moment , say recall or heel training , they need to know that the treat is worth doing it for and ByBenji is the key!!

The adventures continue for super stars Ruby & Rowley - Megan's Superdogs racing together in this adapted disability bike …..

I am excited to share that this December, I will be taking part in Winter Wonderwheels, an inclusive parasports event, by cycling 10k around Dorney Lake on my adapted bike. I will be towing my Assistance Dog, Rowley, in a bike trailer and will be supported around the course by my wonderful partner, Ed, who will be cycling with me.

I am doing this to raise funds for who recently supported me with a small grant to help with the cost of my adaptive skiing lessons (which I will hopefully be doing in early 2024). I want to repay the charity so that they may continue to support other disabled athletes.

Totally understandable decision 👏👏

We sadly have to announce that King’s Road Strutz Charity Canine Dog Fashion Show will be postponed.
The current weather forecast for Saturday is not conducive to the welfare and well-being of the dogs taking part and we have decided a date later in the month when the temperature is more comfortable for all is the sensible thing to do.
We simply cannot allow dogs to model coats and jumpers in such high temperatures and it would be irresponsible for us to go ahead with this event.
Stay tuned as we will be announcing the new date for the event very soon 🎉🎉🎉
