What was your experience with a Siberian cat if you have cat allergies? Below is a family looking into getting one.......

Hello, my family is interested in getting a Siberian kitten, but I have a history of cat allergies. I've been having shots for over 5 years and seem to be much better, so I am hopeful a Siberian will work for us! We'd love to hear if others with allergies have been successful. We're also in the North Atlanta suburbs if there are "Siberian Parents" in the area who would be open to letting us meet your cat in person to test our tolerance before we make a decision.
