2024 Has Been One Hell Of A Year!!

From Achieving my BH with Athena in April to starting my business in June! To now running my own seminar/ workshop!

It’s been a massive year of firsts! But also a year of personal growth!

For those who know me a bit better October 2023 I left a very toxic “dog training” business! Where the aim in training was to suppress behaviours and over use training tools! It really didn’t sit right with me the level of compulsion put on dogs and not really fixing the emotions behind behaviours!

I had enough! And left and start on my own journey I’ve spent many hours this year at different seminars shout out to for putting up with me and my difficult dog 😅 you have been the catalyst to me growing as a trainer!

And goes without saying the massive thank you to my sport mentors you know who you are and I appreciate everything you do for me and Athena!!

I have now found my place and dug out my own path in this industry of madness! Helping one dog at a time and by doing so I have a created such an amazing community of dogs and handlers who have come on leaps and bounds in their training!

Well onto the next! I have a lot planned this year! For the business I just want to grow and offer as much as I can to help dogs in need! And transform relationships! Between dog and owners!

With my dogs I am looking forward to trialing Athena and hopefully achieving our IGP 1 there is a-lot to train but we will get there!

And finding a job if Kona something she will enjoy and we can build together!

Lastly a massive thank you to for putting up with me and my hyper fixation of training dogs! And with helping look after our two your help doesn’t go without appreciation! I and the dogs would be dead without you 😂

Amazing Discovery! Credit to the researchers you worked hard!! 😜

Dogs generally pull about 60 per cent harder on a leash when wearing a padded harness compared with a collar, even when the equipment is marketed as “anti pull” – putting the people walking them at risk of injury.

Some dogs – especially smaller breeds – pull with a force more than twice their body weight on the collar, potentially damaging their throats, says Erin Perry at Southern Illinois University.

“It’s really very shocking,” she says. “The dogs are almost choking themselves on that collar repeatedly. But the harnesses in our study just didn’t inhibit pulling in any way, and that’s definitely a wake-up call – especially because of the risk to owners.”

🎉Happy Birthday🎉

Happy 2nd Birthday to the star of the show Athena!!!

The dog that got me into dog sport and gave me a better understanding of dog training!!

She’s not without her issues and I’ve made alot of mistakes, but she is still I best demo dog and somewhat of a testament of my training ability! But as I said a testament of my mistakes also 😅😂
