Building Recall & Confidence!
Wednesday has made amazing progress in her recall, in safe places now we are starting to venture to busy and distracting environments!
Laying in a Ecollar to aid in making this safe for both wednesday and her owners! Proofing behaviours and
helping against wednesdays tendency to chase!
And then as always we finish the session developing our play mechanics and building confidence around big noises/ distractions!

Always a student!
Athena is a difficult dog! Not because she is alot of dog or because shes a “bad” dog
Shes comes from 2 good blood lines and has alot of drive and desire to do work, but at the same time due to my lack of experinces and from blindly following others advice without learning for myself. Ive allowed for her genetic nerve to be out of control.
Athena has taught me to simply chill the F*ck out we are going at her pace and we are alwasy looking for new and improved was to calm her headspace! She has come on leaps and bounds recently. Not caring too much about people or dogs and is starting to settle in the work.
Shes makes me really think about our training. We can’t stray too far from the pictures we paint or she will implode, which pushes me to be a better trainer/ handler and strive to achieve full clarity in what i expect of her.
And if im honest that isnt always easy! She is a dog that has truly humbled me and makes me heavily appreciate what clients with there behvaioural issues go through because im going through the same thing everyday with my dog, just because im a trainer doesnt mean im PERFECT.
IM ALWAYS LEARNING AND PUSHING TO BE BETTER AND DO BETTER BY MY DOGS!

I dont normally post much to do with sport or protection work as its not something i offer as a service!

All this is for her is fulfilment for her gentics, i think people forget that all dogs where bred for specific purposes, and alot of behvaioural problems typically stem from dogs being under fulfiled and then trying to fulfil themselves.
Thus you get a dog looking looking for an outlet if there drives, and this normally leaks out into ALOTTTT of frustration! More on this soon!!!

Ada the Miniture Dachshund!!!
Ada came to me with a little nerve to new & busy environments. Leading to her not wanting to leave the front door!
2 sessions in we have built motivation to work for food and now we are now starting to exposue Ada to new environments and show her that enaging with the handler is WAYYYY more fun than engaging/ focusing on the environment!
