I will have some pretty amazing 1 year old PROVEN castor does available for adoption soon. One carries chinchilla, otter and chocolate and has recently produced choc chin and choc marten does for me. This one in the video also carries chin, and non-extension and has produced a very nice chinchilla and a couple if lovely orange. Both as also show quality, if those dewlaps don't get out of control 🤣 message me ASAP if you are keen on one.

Handraising baby buns : it's only been a week since their Mumma passed, but what a week it has been. We lost the steel buck a few days later. just couldn't get enough food into him unfortunately. Also, they all went into a kind of depression afterward. The girls are thriving now and very very friendly. They will make great pets in another 4 weeks when they are weaned.

The babies are 2 weeks old now and yes, I am in love with the black and REW litter.

Angela is doing heaps better! She's a real trooper. Spent the day with her sisters today... hense the dot is her ear... had to be able to figure out which otter she was from her sisters. 😂❤🐰

First time out on the lawn ... which is mighty long ... and one baby still thinks the grass is greener on the other side of the fence 😂

Cassidy's litter - 8 I am already in love with this litter! 2x castor, 2x opal, 2x broken castor and 2 others I am assuming will be broken opal. ❤❤❤

Lilly's litter - 9 2x unknown colour. Likely to be orange or fawn, but wouldn't it be cool if they were ermine. But considering what I know about the genetics of these two, it'd be a miracle!

Beautiful sunrise this morning. Just out of Otorohanga. We (Tara and I) were on our way to Matangi for the North Island National Show. Results will be posted tomorrow. 😉
