FORMER K9 CHARGED WITH MURDER-On July 9, 2024, at approximately 11:13 AM, Mr. Bojangles was found dead on the property at the K9 PTSD Center. Mr. Bojangles a large male rat was found unresponsive by staff. After many attempts to revive Mr. Bojangles, it was determined he was deceased. Crime scene investigators arrived and completed a detailed investigation. The medical examiner determined the cause of death was crushing blunt force trauma. There are no witnesses to this crime and no video of the crime. K9 Clint was placed under arrest as he was the only K9 in proximity to Mr. Bojangles. K9 Clint has pleaded not guilty through his lawyer. K9 Clint was released on $100,000 cash bail and a GPS tracking device. A statement released by K9 Clint's lawyer says the following. " My client is completely innocent, I look forward to our day in court and showing my client did not commit this crime." "They have no evidence my client did this, it was another K9 at the center." K9 Clint has set up a GoFundMe for his legal defense. K9 Clint served the Commonwealth of Mass for 9 years as a dual-purpose K9. https://gofund.me/81e154a6

MWD K9 Kalo-is adjusting great and doing amazing! Kalo served the United States in Afghanistan as an EDD (Explosive detection dog) locating over 390 IEDs during his service. A true American hero! Now it’s time for play, snacks and lots of belly rubs. 🐾🇺🇸

Splash into Summer! K9 Dock Diving Competition 2024 June 15, 11am at the K9 PTSD Center. No cost for K9 teams to enter. Food and drinks provided. If your K9 is dog reactive, they can comfortably wait in one of our kennels for their turn. A champion will be crowned. Let’s give these heros a day of fun and relaxation.

Congratulations to recent Golden Ticket winner, Joel, of Emma G. Whiteknact Elementary School in East Providence, RI!

Emma G. Whiteknact Elementary received a $5,000 grant and Joel choose the K9 PTSD Center to receive a $500 non-profit grant award from his winning ticket!

K9 PTSD Center's focus is on developing programs to enhance dogs with PTSD I/II and other fear and anxiety-based behaviors.

Way to go, Feinstein Jr. Scholar! We are proud of you! 🐕🌟🐶

This amazing dual purpose K9 Heros is trained in patrol and cadaver search with a long successful career. Show him some welcoming love ❤️.He’s 7 years old and doing amazing here!

With great sadness we lost one of Seekonk’s finest Officer’s Kourtny Deforitis. We honor her dedication and service to our community with lighting the center in blue in memory of Kourtny. We are grateful to her for all the years of service protecting us. Rest in peace and thank you!
