I used to micro manage the shape but this was blocking the shoulders at times. I am allowing him to more freely find the shape himself. You will see him flow in out of the bending as he is finding his balance in this exercise.

Since the backwards leading position is used in the test I like to get a nice easy flow at liberty with Phoenix. This helps us be tuned into each others body language and helps me to touch his face alot less, which he appreciates.
