Started moving into the new shop! This shop will be for paperwork, mounting and finishing. The old shop will be for skinning, fleshing, salting and tanning . Hopefully this will cut down on the clutter and I can be more organized.
Being a hunter for a long time, I’ve watched a lot of deer from a tree stand. I learn a lot by their actions, I pay close attention to their body language, ear positions, eye positions and stances. You see a lot of my mounts where the ears are back, the reason for that is unless the deer see’s or hears something and gets its full attention, their ears are very rarely in the forward position. The boss doe was 1 year older than the other doe, but she was not the oldest of them all, she would routinely run off doe’s that was a lot bigger than her. The next time you’re in a tree stand , pay attention to their ear position and movements.
