I am looking for someone to help me at the store part time. I’m going to need help with baking or possibly cutting out biscuits to then bake. A volunteer would be helpful as funds are tight right now as I work to build things back up after almost 2 years of having no oven at the store and baking slowly at home due to crazy schedule.

If you can, please message me. No I cannot offer dog treats or bones as payment due to high volume of sales. Demand is high and producing is a challenge until I can get a routine down. 😁🤪

And also know what little I do receive, I am still able to purchase extra foods (from our suppliers), so I do provide meat and veggies to those in need due to the sheer volume I purchase.

Thank you to all our shoppers at Dodge Park Farmers Market. Don’t forget our kitchen/store is at 34308 Harper, Clinton Township.

I will be starting more days starting Wednesday. I will be going full time after first week and will post those hours.

I had a bit of an unexpected last week of September that I was supposed to have days off, so I’m going to start a little later this week so I can get some much needed time off and rest after 2 years of 7 days a week.

Saturday, September 28th, I will be at Royal Oak Farmers Market 7am to 1pm
Sunday, September 29th thru Tuesday, October 1st, closed

Wednesday, open after I bring hubby to chemo in morning (will have to pick him up later in day) - times at store tbd
Thursday, October 3rd, open 10am to 6pm
Friday, Oct 4th, closed to pack and load for Saturdays market
Saturday, October 5th, Royal Oak Farmers Market, 7am to 1pm
Sunday, October 6th, 12pm to 5pm

Thanks to a friend who lives out on a farm, we are now able to purchase eggs that are clean from free roaming chickens who produce healthy eggs. No steroids, no antibiotics used and free roaming.

So after a while, you will see different colored egg shells. But know that while we finish off the last of our egg shells (cleaning and drying) even our white eggs are free roaming, but we will be supporting a friend and love the quality of these eggs. Yes we have eaten them as well to check quality and they are really good 😁

Just upping the quality of our ingredients 😁

Lots of fresh biscuits are gonna be made today after dough making 😁 dehydrating is also finishing so there is a lot to wrap as well. Busy busy day at store today.

Also tomorrow, Thursday, Sept 26th is last day at Dodge Park Farmers Market. Good news is you can shop with us all year long at the store. 😁

There is so much that we have been dehydrating vegetables to sell. Yes they are safe for dogs, and you can also purchase for rabbits, and other pets beyond cats and dogs 😉

Okay Pawz Kitchen UPDATE….

With hubby going back to work while still doing last 2 treatments, I am going to be taking the last week of October off….. October 27th thru Nov 1st.

I will be doing Royal Oak, but that is my ONLY task that week other than hubby’s last chemo treatment.

I desperately need the rest after a very long two years 7 days a week non-stop….. literally non-stop.

Through October, I am going to be at the store pretty much full time, Sunday thru Thursday.

Sunday 12pm to 5pm
Mon thru Thurs 10am to 6pm
Last week of month through holidays hours will vary (Nov & Dec)

I may have to take a day to go get product, but I will announce that the week I do pick ups.

Thank you everyone for business and support. I do this almost all alone. Even with my hubby home, he has still helped, once his energy got stronger. Thanks to the student I had for his volunteer hours. This has been a very exhausting but amazing year!!!

I’m debating once I go close to full time in October, should I work Sundays? I will be working Saturday at the market, so I’m thinking my hours (not for sure yet)….

Sun thru Thurs

Sun 11-5 or 12-5
Mon - Thurs 10 to 6

Since I have no one helping it’s all on me. Hubby will be back to work, so it’s just me. No work is coming home other than bookkeeping til I can get a laptop at store (no pc).

Today I am picking up more of the clean products you love. It’s getting really busy in our kitchen and I love seeing that! A whole lot of bones came out of dehydrator, and a whole lot of veggies. Then I have to pick up 4 cases of gizzards and Sunday when my volunteer is there, he is gonna be doing a whole lot of those for dehydrator.

I have 2 Dino bones left. Will get more in the next few weeks. Thank you to my farmer friend. Your biscuits now are getting really clean eggs in their biscuits also. I love how clean our products are and I definitely work hard at that!

These may be our new pig ears. They are York or Yorkshire (can’t remember right now) pig ears. They are clean of all antibiotics and steroids. They are a good size and still dehydrated, just a darker pig. I have one available per family if they would like to try. You should be a regular pig ear buyer from me so I know what your dog thinks. I do not believe we will be able to get the Berkshire anymore 😢. I’m still going to try but I am going to have to get another type and I do apologize.

I will not have these available at the markets. You will have to ask me for one today for Thursdays market or Friday for Saturdays market. Or… you can come to the store.

Once I learn if these are acceptable, then I will order and you will be able to purchase. Price should be able to stay the same 😁

This is FAKE!!! they are using names from one of my past family members, spelling my last name wrong to use and my logo that is in process of being registered.

Fraudhood (FB) now doesn’t give me any kind of links to report, just info about how to report but nothing helpful. Please be forewarned and do your best to make these people pay!!!!

This week while I’m at store and open Tues and Wed…. I’m going to be baking in store. I have some herbs and veggies to get into the dehydrator this week, but…. it is gonna be sooooo awesome to bake at the store! I have a few more baking sheets to purchase and a few more silicone mats, but that will happen soon.

Let’s see what finishes in dehydrator tomorrow. And a baking I should go…. who knew I would be so excited lol

Thank you to the donor, the referral for the working electrician and to the electrician. My oven is officially working! 🥰 it’s only taken almost 2 years to find someone within cost and availability.

Now for update…. The store hours will not be extended until October 1st. I am still covering royal oak farmers market for hubby and that throws a minor wrench into things. But…

Good news… more regular hours and I can make biscuits actually at the store so stock should increase quite a bit once I catch up 😁I’m sooooo excited!!!

I love I finally have everything functioning. Well by tonight 😉

Okay pig ear update (those pictured are not ours)….

I got my sampler pack. They are not Berkshire, but just as clean. The only difference they are not as “blonde” as the Berkshire. But they seem to be a decent size.

I will take pictures once they are done in the dehydrator next week. I’m told they are clean just like the Berkshire ears.

If I get Berkshire again, they are going to be more expensive. Like instead of $9 for four of them, it will be “about” $12+ per 4 ears.

These current ones, I can probably keep around the same cost.

I received 4 of these new ears. If you are a regular and your dog loves our pig ears, please tag me and I will get you a new ear for free after dehydrating so you can see if your dog likes them.

Ok, it’s 7pm on Sunday night. I’m going to go make two trays of biscuits 😖 I’m exhausted, but I don’t have a choice. I have no more free days to get stuff done, so…. Until my oven at store gets the commercial step up transformer it needs, I need to alter my way to get things baked. I may not have normal quantity, but I have to have something over nothing.

Anyone know a commercial electrician that will take cash payment once job is completed?

I will have peanut butter/pumpkin AND our Tranquility Biscuits. I have limited Chickspers, but grateful to have available! 😁 you will see I have my cat treats, all flavors, but some do sell quickly.

I also have the Dino Bones available. Yes, those massive bones! 😉

Well I’m getting new samples of pig ears shipped to me to check out. I am happy I found a company that will deal with me now I just pray the quality is what I expect. Yes I told them no nitrates etc so they are clean that way. Just need to get the samples and dehydrate and see how they are.

Say a prayer if you would like now if you still want our Berkshire pig ears I can order but there will be a price increase on them.

Thank you to the person who referred an electrician to me. Sadly, I am still needing an electrician to do a step up transformer for my store. I will NOT front money to anyone. I will have cash upon completion of job. If you need to see it I will have it when you come out. Sorry, I don’t play that way. Been burned one too many times.

If someone can’t appreciate that, well that’s too bad. Money was donated for job, so cash will be there. That’s just the way it goes.

I am going to apologize profusely. Today I was supposed to make peanut butter / pumpkin biscuits and tranquility biscuits and we had a major sewage issue happen in our house (pic is only of one room) 😖 back up is in 2 other rooms

Okay…. first I want to say thank you to all our customers locally and around the nation. It is because of you I am able to help others through our love for feeding animals healthy. I am about 90-95% clean (no steroids, no antibiotics, no nitrates) which is not said easily I can assure you. I work hard at it.

But right now I MUST get my oven working at the store. It needs a commercial step-up transformer that is not cheap. I am half way there with the donations.

Demand is definitely growing, but now being able to do biscuits from home is even becoming a challenge because the one day a week I have is also slowing down.

Hubby is out of work for a while due to his cancer treatments. He will be fine (thank You Lord), but that has affected us. There is no extra. I’m barely able to afford what we need for biz and there is clearly no extra to move things forward a bit faster. Doing home and store is hard when I never stop 🫨

I am looking for donors to help me get things done. I’ve had generous contractors, but now I need to get them paid (they have generously waited as well). I need to get this oven’s step-up transformer so that I can do things at the store full time. The biscuit demand is definitely up!! 😁

Dino bones just came out of dehydrator. They are beautiful!! Your dog(s) are gonna love me! I will have two of these with me at Royal Oak Farmers Market on Saturday and 4 of them with me on Thursday at Dodge Park Farmers Market.

Cost: $30 each (reasonable considering what they cost separately)

Nice and meaty and all sorts of healthy fats for your dog (ironic I know lol)

This weekend I am going to put my Dino bones in the dehydrator. They are actually cow femurs with knuckles on each end. They are huge!!! They will be sold for $30 each. We get a decent price on these so I can offer them at this price.

We have Saint Bernards that love them! Only they got them raw and frozen.
