When I became a duel citizen
USA -UK I vowed to obey the laws of the United Kingdom…and

I took an oath pledging my allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll and her heirs.

I have taken my vow and my oath very seriously…holding my Mother’s Bible in one hand and my First Nation family beads in the other. I pledged my allegiance to my Queen in English and my vow in Welsh. I later found out I am the only person in history to have been sworn in as a citizen in Welsh. Most of the people becoming a British Citizens are learning English as they are from places like Thailand and are not eligible for Duel Citizenship. 

Perhaps never more than now I am reminded of pledging my life to Her Majesty and her heirs. The passing of the torch  as it’s been done for 1,000s of years. I’ve shed many tears as so many of us have…

and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest… long live the King.

I do solemnly, sincerely and truly declare and affirm that on becoming a British Citizen I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, her heirs and successors according to law.

I will give my loyalty to the United Kingdom and respect its rights and freedoms. I will uphold its democratic values. I will observe its laws faithfully and fulfil my duties and obligations as a British citizen.

I am so sad… Her Majesty has left us. There will never be anyone like her. A few years ago someone posted photos of Her dancing with all of the American Presidents in Chronological order. It really brought it home how long she had reigned. So now we have King Charles and Queen Consort Camila. Then the much anticipated reign of Prince William of Wales and Catherine Princess of Wales. The entire United Kingdom adores her and their darling children. I am especially charmed by Princess Charlotte. She already knows how to play to an audience. Prince George who will some day be King and the always entertaining Prince Louis. He stole the show at the Platinum Jubilee and seven year old Princess Charlotte corrected him like a little mother. Finally he was handed over to grandfather King Charles who held him on his lap. The entire country was laughing at his antics. William and Catherine have just moved into a cottage with four bedrooms which leaves no room for a nanny. She will be housed next door. William and Catherine are determined to raise their children as Middle Class Catherine was raised. The children will attend the local school.. William and Catherine are determined to raise their children as she was raised. The nanny will be next door to take care of the children during state occasions. Catherine’s parents live nearby and can pickup the children if need be. Long live the King.

Does anyone out there know how to get rid of emoji’s. Somehow a horrible spider has come onto my emoji and I am petrified of Spiders. I mean totally. When I see this I can’t stand to use emojis. I have spent my entire life trying to keep them away from me. So far so good.
