Only managed to snap one picture so I could leave them alone to get settled but I have just received 11 adult psytalla horrida (horrid king assassin bugs) the largest species in the world and one of the coolest animals Iv ever had the fortune of keeping.

I’m hoping to be able to get these breeding and set up a successful colony of them

Little update on the deroplatys gorochovi ootheca that hatched the other day we got 105 babies not too shabby at all

After a fantastic day at the BTS on Sunday and some work getting my office (bug room) back up to scratch we’ve also had a nice hatch of deroplatys gorochovi today pictures don’t do it justice there’s loads of babies (the ootheca is outside of the cup like that because it fell off the side of the tub and I had to panic alo……I mean very bravely and intelligently improvise to keep them safe

Hey everyone

Does anyone in the NG17 or surrounding areas possibly have a privet bush that i can get a few branches from as the one iv been using for stick insect food has been absolutely destroyed by the council and its not growing back very quickly.

Any help would be appreciated

Hey everyone its been far too long how's everyone doing!

I have been terrible keeping in touch with you all for the longest time so why don't we have a chat? Let me know how you have been and also why not throw in some pics of the pets as well because lets face it right we are all here for the animals.

I'm really going to try and be around more and hopefully have some news and content for you all soon.
