Welcome to the family Rézy! We got home after dark last night and had to leave right after. Didn't get back until this afternoon but I was só excited to let the girls meet each other
Here they are meeting for the first time, had no issues and so I let Rizzy out soon after.
Spent the morning giving Meg a thorough wash with normal equine shampoo and then a re-wash and soak with a germacidal shampoo to see if that won't help for the itch she's been having. While she was soaking in the treatment, I took a good while and loads of shampoo to get a major knot out of her tail and braid it to prevent it getting messed up again. Granted I have zero experience in braiding manes and tails but I gave it a decent shot by braiding sections of her tail all the way down to its end before joining all the braids into a bunch. Must admit I'm quite chuffed with myself for conquering that crows nest that was her tail, looking much better!
😬 Needless to say I'll look into how to braid manes and tails...
Got the girls blankets for the coming winter, it's gets quite here along the river. ❄️🥶
Not sure how they'll react to them, Meg will get to try hers on first as we eagerly await Rézy's arrival from Piber Stud
the little things 😊
