Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love because in all honesty, theirs is unconditional and ours is not. And because time is a thief, you don’t know how long you’ll have with them. Khari was our first Boerboel. He lived for 10 years and 27 perfect days. He went to doggy heaven today after seriously trying to fight off meds (that would have put a cow down after seconds) where he’s no longer in pain. He leaves a legacy of off-springs and he will remain a great dog in all memories. He was LOVED more than some of you love your children, and I don’t doubt my statement one bit.
