*Edit - Champ is adoption pending! As happy as we are so many people are interested in him, PLEASE PLEASE look at all the "Champ"s we have just waiting for a home, they all deserve one, not just Champ. Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Gilead, OH page had all of them in the adoptable folder. PLEASE give another "Champ" the chance for a furever loving home, we have so many amazing dogs, just waiting for you!

WHY has he not been adopted by now?
Brought into the shelter August 2nd of 2024. He struggles to maintain his weight due to the high stress level at an overcapacity shelter.
Champ is approximately 2 years old. He loves to snuggle. He's very much a Velcro dog.
If you are interested in Champ, please stop by the shelter at 115 Young avenue, Mount Gilead Ohio 43338 or call the Morrow County dog shelter at 419-946-1747.
If you are not able to make room in your home and in your heart for Champ please share him so that maybe he can find a loving family soon.

2018 Firsts

Yesterday was our first fundraiser of the new year. We didn’t do too bad thanks to Liz Bollman who donated some AMAZINGLY awesome treats, and Colony Cats who also donated. We didn’t price high and especially not what maybe we could/should have. But we did pretty good and want to thank those who supported us. The utmost thanks to Lisa, the Store Manager, who ALWAYS goes above and beyond to accommodate and share our journey with us. Your team and your energy and passion explodes the moment you walk in that door, which assures success not just with you but with us. I am forever grateful for the partnership and look forward to great things in the future. We’ll be seeing you all very soon.
