Before I get too wrapped up in this year’s Christmas festivities, I’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
Wishing love, luck and good health to you all 🧡

Three Hundred and Sixty Five Days at Sunray Farm 🧡
Yesterday marked one whole year of NMD Equestrian being based at Sunray Farm. Chapter One: Completed ✔️ Three hundred and sixty five days completed and left behind. I’m still in shock at just how quickly the year has gone, time truly does fly when you’re having fun…. Or when you just don’t have time to be clock watching! 🙈
Many headaches have been had, sweat has been poured and many tears have flowed, both the happy kind and the not so. New friendships have been formed, many memories made, lots of belly laughs had, heaps of coffee drank and countless Yumyums eaten!
Personally speaking, it’s always the fellow equine enthusiasts that make a yard and not so much the fancy facilities it has on offer. I’m very fortunate as well as honoured to be not only trusted with another’s much loved steed but to also be surrounded and supported by a truly amazing bunch of people. The love is felt and the appreciation is shown by all 🧡
My thanks and appreciation goes out to all my long standing clients for all their patience and understanding over the last year. You’ve all played a vital part in getting me to where I am now for which I’ll be forever grateful. I’d also like to thank a very special friend, known on the yard as my “Yard Wife” for all her help, support, organisation skills and so much more! From starting out as a client to being a friend to who is now more like a sister! THANK YOU VICKY! And to her (real life) husband, Andy. Not all hero’s wear capes! 😉
Roll on Chapter Two!
With love and thanks,
Nick @ NMD Equestrian 🧡
He has super cool looks, a crafty personality, the sweetest laid back attitude and with a great name to match, I introduce you all to NIMBUS! …. Yep, I’m a Harry Potter fan! 🙋🏻♂️
Standing at 14hh and aged just four, this crafty but lovable chap is now on the search for a new postcode. An unexpected arrival following the purchase of his mum but very much a pleasant surprise! And now unfortunately a very sad sale, being no fault of his own. Heaps of photos and stories available!
Nimbus was broken in late last summer and since been produced slowly. He is a project but with good basic training in place for someone to bring on further. He has a lovely laid back attitude and is often found flat out snoring! Can be a kick along in the school but loves to hack.
Nimbus has a very trainable attitude and am certain will bring someone lots of happiness in whatever direction they decide to go in. More info available upon request but please no time wasters, dealers or novices.
Stabled in Surrey where he is currently being schooled on further till the very best home is found.
Please feel free to message me for further info 💫
Introducing Timmy! A super smart and flashy New Forrest pony who stands at 13’2. Timmy is ten years old and with very low mileage for his age. Purchased from the New Forrest at six months old and has stayed within the same family since, meaning full history known.
This little lad has a super keen jump, winning his two recent SJ classes at 75 and 80cm with a new pilot and with scope for much more. Last season Timmy was mainly hunting with the Ted worth Hunt where he showed great enthusiasm as well as being very well mannered throughout. As well as Ted worth, he has also hunted with the Kent and Surrey bloodhounds and the South down blood hounds where he has also been used to whip in.
A real fun pony that is easy to handle and vice free. Timmy is currently being sold on behalf of his owners who are more than happy to speak to anyone who shows a real interest. Sold with tack and currently stabled in Surrey where viewings will be held. Please PM for further info 😊
Welcome to Sunray on Ice! ❄️
It’s out with the riding boots and in with the ice skates!
I’ll be giving Guildford Spectrum a run for their money if this cold spell doesn’t shift!!! 😫
Still, at least the non horsey children were kept amused while horsey mums could play ponies in peace 😂🐴💕
Chapter 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣3️⃣
And just like that 365 days have passed and a new chapter begins. Chapter 2023!!
What a year it has been with many highs enjoyed and quite a few lows suffered for not only myself but many around me. There has certainly been a sense of change happen for many I know. Be that personal circumstances, relationships, planned goals, ideas, living / livery set up, new ventures or simply routines.
I embrace change, a change is as good as a holiday in my opinion. Keep it fresh, keep the desire, the want to do more and do it better, the thrill and excitement of something new to keep our drive to push on and achieve more than before.
Change can be unsettling for many but sometimes change is required to suit our own needs, a situation, lifestyle or most importantly our health, be that for us or our horses. Who wants to be forever riding around a 20 metre circle anyway? As NMD Equestrian grows a change is needing to happen in order to be able to carry on the services I offer, despite all efforts to stay lenient and accommodating. Watch this space! Health is wealth, with health being something I’ve lacked in having for 2022.
Start 2023 as you mean to go on. Don’t dwell on the past but embrace it, learn from it and grow. Set your goals higher, raise your standards and enjoy the ride! I’ve got a feeling this next chapter is going to be a good one for many!!!
A big thank you to my current owners for all the support, encouragement, understanding, appreciation, trust and love you all show and treat me with. Owners / clients that are more friends than anything else. Forever grateful 🥰
Wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year!
With love and positivity to you, NMD 🙌🏼🐴💫🫶🏼
Well that’s the lovely Jackie Boy off to his new home, having passed his five stage vetting on Wednesday. I’ll miss this little quirky blue eyed boy. Super delighted I could help bring Jack back into work and find him a really lovely home where I will be continuing to help his new owners on their new journey together 🤗💙🐴
Having passed her trial, little Miss Ivy is now officially up for sale 🎉🎉🎉
This little mare has been a pure pleasure to handle and deal with over the last two weeks, without causing any fuss or questioning anything chucked her way. We’ve ventured to the beach, dressage and show jumping competitions as well as schooling outings with various riders of ability ride her, proving calm and willing in all she does. A real sweet character with glowing references from those that have sat on her.
This 14’2 connie at only six years old has so much to offer and will make someone very happy. Ivy is up for sale through no fault of her own and sold with full wardrobe. She is up to date on all vaccinations, worming, teeth etc.
Please feel free to get in touch for any further info. Price to increase with further schooling the longer she is with me. Open to any vetting / viewing.
A genuine, kind home is of the upmost importance for this sweet girl. Ideal for someone coming off little ponies or a mother / daughter share. At only six there is room for improvement, as with most however her temperament and attitude speaks volumes, not to mention her stunning looks.
Please feel free to share so I can find this little diamond the most beautiful home 🦄
