Handsome intact male, possibly catahoula or healer cross got arrested a few days ago and no one has come forward to claim him. Let’s share his cute face and find his owner so he can go home. Wearing a collar, dragging his tie out. No tags.

Inclement weather brings an entire new list of concerns for our pets. Check out these cold weather tips:
❄️Have outdoor cats? Old unused coolers make excellent houses. Cut a hole in the side, layer with warm blankets and you have a cozy cat hotel.
❄️Picking up ice melt for the porch? Make sure it is pet friendly. Dogs lick their paws and it can be toxic if it is not labeled “safe for pets.” Pay special attention to their pads and feet after walk in the snow or ice.
❄️Need a warm place for outdoor pets to stay? We have boarding accommodations available. Know their limits and never hesitate to give us a call.
❄️Warming up your car before going to work? Knock on the hood before you leave….kitties love a warm place to curl up and we see multiple fan belt injuries every year.

As always, if you need us…we are here for you. Stay safe and warm this weekend and say an extra prayer for all of our clients/friends/family taking care of livestock. ❄️

The holidays come with a number of risks for pets. Rather than dashing to the vet, spend a few moments pet proofing your tree:
-Avoid putting tempting gifts with food in them out until the last minute.
-Keep ornaments high and out of reach of curious paws.
-Have a real tree? Don't put additives in the water that thirsty pets may taste.
-Do you love tinsel and ribbon? Feisty little felines do also. These can quickly become foreign bodies when ingested.
-Holiday plants that are toxic include poinsettias, holly, mistletoe and even pine. Keep these away from those 4-legged wonders.

Keep your pet jolly by keeping these foods out of their bowl... sweet snacks, fatty trimmings, bones, onions, garlic spices, macademia nuts and walnuts, and bread dough. Ok Facebook. Here are 3 jailbirds that need to find their owners. Big boy on the left is a neutered male (most likely a farm dog, never been on a leash) picked up near Busch City. Top right boy with the blue eye is a neutered older male with a heart murmur. Bottom right is an unspayed female less than a year or two. All 3 are super sweet and would really like to go home. Feel free to share so we can get these sweethearts back to their owners.

And now there are 2! 2 beautiful female kitties less than 1y, already spayed, looking for their fur-ever home. Not are love bugs and super sweet! Adoption fee waived. These cuties just need a rabies vaccine to go home today.

Just a friendly reminder…the #1 reason for veterinary visits after Thanksgiving is pancreatitis. If you don’t want your sweet fur-baby here….don’t share that extra slice of pie and left over turkey 🍗🍗🍗🫣
